yes i tried it last night and it works great.. im using it with AMS2 opencomposite openxr and the functions are all quite good.. depth function is great for racing too

Did quadviews work for you in AMS2? So far I haven't been able to get QV to have any effect in any of the 4 games I tried, including AMS2.

hi u/Schematic_Sound , thanks for trying out the app! I'm the dev behind VectorXR.

VectorXR can only orchestrate Quadviews for DX11 games that natively support that style of rendering. DCS is the big standout here, although there are a few other titles. I am hoping to add DX12 support in the future. Unfortunately, not many VR titles support this style of rendering.

Ah, thanks for the reply - I misunderstood how it worked. I was assuming it was a sort of universal injector the way OpenXR Toolkit does regular foveated rendering, but for quadviews. That's really the only feature I use, so I guess it's back to Toolkit for me.

I am curious though if there is some other way to bring Quadviews to any game - Richard Burns Rally comes to mind where it obviously does not natively support VR at all, but the VR mod supports QV. Obviously that's baked into the modded VR implementation at a deeper level, and I won't pretend to understand how that works at all, but maybe there's something there?

after more testing i realize quadviews doesn't work with AMS2. A quick google shows that AMS2 can't support foveated rendering so i guess that's that.

The Depth enhancement just got a major update in the latest 0.14 release - what settings did you settle on for racing u/trackballz ?

So far i'm working with Stereo Depth=7.8 and Convergence -1.4.. I have yet to try it with Beamng which i realize has openxr...

there is any improvement to reduce or eliminate shimmering?
