Discussion Secure boot windows only

So I have windows only on my steam deck no steamos so decksb didn’t work I just wanna play cod can someone help me im on oled model with normal boot loader and bios. 😭

Oh boy. You fucked up hard. If you used DeckSB, the keys are baked and public, so you can regenerate a new PK key and all the other secureboot keys with their repository. You should have used a USB, the usb will have the secureboot keys in the EFI saved still.

Boot the USB, Install it locally. Reflash your secureboot and enable it. You also didnt provide anything more other than wanting to play COD on Windows, which, if done right, is a decent experience but you need to be really technical to use DeckSB. Luckily you can still boot Windows so your bios is not fully and utterly screwed.

This is what I used when BO7 beta was out

I don’t provide any support, and I’m not sure how out of date this project is, I had to use ChatGPT to get through one step because it was out of date.

I enabled secure boot off a full install of Fedora desktop iso. Unless you have a flasher to fix an error you have, your risk is your problem. Though I did have a successful secure boot and it’s still working till this day. BACKUP YOUR KEYS. My deck only has windows on it and cod bo7 up till has been a pretty good experience and they’ve improved performances but lots of trade-offs though.
