wipeout fusion help

i’ve fully completed all the classic games on PS1, and have moved on to fusion. been trying to get a 100% on it. i’ve finished the arcade and ag league modes, as well as half of zone mode, but i can’t for the life of me get the hang of challenge mode, especially the elimination challenges. van uber challenge 2 is where im stuck at, so i was wondering if anyone here has done it before and/or has some tips to overcome it. any help would be appreciated.

additionally, is there any way to earn credits easier? i’m trying to upgrade all my ships and endlessly replaying the arcade mode for a small amount of credits sounds really boring.

With the Elimination Challenges, go slow, and pick on the ships in the back of the pack until they explode. They're morons, so it won't be hard to keep pace with them. These challenges usually have two weapons - one that's useful, and one that isn't (or is at least more difficult to use). Figure out which is which, and drop the bad one to make room for the good one.

You earn more credits as you complete more leagues, so get as far as you can before you start farming. Pick a ship, upgrade its weapons as much as you can (without making the ship go up in level), hang out in the back of the pack like in Elimination, and pray for Quake. You still get money for kills, and you may even win some leagues from elimination points, despite coming in dead last race-wise.

the advice for eliminating people in the AG league will definetly come in handy, thank you so much. however whenever i try to pick on one ship in the back of the crowd in the challenge mode, they barely take any damage at all and the race ends before i can even kill one opponent.
