Discussion Should I wait?

I just started the game a few days ago. I'm been playing in velen for a few hours. I'm about 12 hours in, and I'm level 6.

I just heard about the remastered version, obviously, and I'm wondering if I should wait and restart when that comes out. I will be taking a two-week holiday starting next week, so i won't be able to play. I have another game I can play in the meantime.

Is the remastered version going to offer enough that I should wait and start from the beginning?

Isnt the update just going to let you keep progress etc? Why wait?

If u have another game that u really wanna play and u wanna wait then u should, but if u really wanna play tw3 then just go for it, its still pretty good

I'm waiting till the new dlc comes out because that's when modding should be coming to console but if it's your first playthough you probs don't care about modding anyway
