Wolverine comics as a starter

I'm currently reading the Claremont and Miller run and really enjoying it, what should I read after this?

If you’ve never read them, you should read Giant Size X-Men and forward into the main Claremont X-Men era.

I see sentiment here sometimes that suggests you only have to read the solo stuff of the character you like, but then you’d be genuinely missing out a tone of great Wolverine moments and character building, and won’t fully understand the character or why he became such a fan favourite.

If you have read X-Men though, you should jump right into Wolverine Vol 2 (1988). Maybe my favourite Wolverine run of all time!

This guy gets it. UXM is a team book, but Logan becomes a huge part of it as the years go by, and that's where he became super popular. He even gets solo, "Wolverine issues" like 133, 139-140, 162, 205, and more, that the rest of the team rarely gets.

Weapon X. You are starting in the right place, and I also recommend the Claremont Uncanny run, but Weapon X is a quick read and super important to the character.

Weapon X is one of the greatest comics I have ever read. Timeless art and a very well crafted story.
