Hey everyone, thought I'd share my current schedule in case anyone needs inspiration for their daily grind.

I'm working 13-hour shifts right now, 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, every day. No weekends. No holidays. Days off are like a concept from a history book.

I earn a modest $250 a month thanks to my dedication. That's about $0.64 an hour. I'm basically a full-time employee, but I've also got this other thing going on that's kind of eating me alive.

Living in Lebanon, where the economy is already a mess, my salary is barely enough to buy two bags of coffee, a tank of gas, and a single tear of existential regret. But, on the bright side, with a 91-hour work week, I save a ton of money on recreation because I literally don't have time to exist outside of work!

Who else out there is giving 110% of themselves for 2% of a living wage?

If someone tells you paying higher prices is good, that person has officially lost touch with reality.

If someone tells you $4.00+ per gallon isn’t too high, they’re either rich, delusional, or haven’t filled a tank in years.

If someone thinks adding another 5% ethanol, which wrecks mileage, beats up engines, and does nothing but pad corporate pockets, is somehow worth higher prices, they’re part of the problem.

If someone shrugs and says they don’t understand why people can’t just work two jobs, that’s not advice that’s a confession that they have no clue how normal people live anymore.

If billionaires are quietly building bunkers outside the United States with blast doors, private power, and enough supplies to last decades, maybe ask yourself why they see something coming while the public is told everything is fine.

If our own government keeps siphoning money from taxpayers and calling it for the greater good, while also claiming we somehow can’t afford Medicare and Social Security programs people paid into their entire lives, then maybe the issue isn’t the people, it’s the priorities.

And if they try to distract you by saying those benefits are being drained by illegal immigrants, even though that’s not where the money is going, that’s not an explanation, that’s a smokescreen.

Everything is going up. Everything is being squeezed. And every excuse they give is just another way of telling you to shut up and accept it.

In 2018, Abdul El-Sayed was arrested during the Fight for $15 protest to raise the Michigan min wage.

He wouldn’t let his charges get dropped unless it was for eveyrone. “In the face of injustice, dissent is dignity”.

Think standing in solidarity with union workers will help or hurt him with voters in Michigan? That’s why media & talking heads never bring it up.

Especially when Mike Rogers is vehemently against raising the minimum wage, both as a Michigan state legislator & in Congress.

Amazon

The world’s second-richest man remains silent as ICE targets his most vulnerable workers.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, like many corporate founders with enormous stock holdings, pocketed only nominal annual compensation during his years as CEO. As Amazon’s executive chair, he still collected just $1,681,840 in 2025, with all but $81,840 of that representing payment for his personal security expenses. Meanwhile, his staggering personal net worth has continued to explode. As of July 2026, the Forbes real-time tracker estimated Bezos’s wealth, nearly all of it in Amazon stock, at $254 billion, up by $33 billion over the past year.

In 2025, Amazon’s other named executives also received relatively small annual compensation packages because they had raked in multi-year mega-grants in recent years. CEO Andrew Jassy holds more than 2.3 million Amazon shares, currently worth $634 million. By contrast, median pay for Amazon workers stood at $40,206 last year, and the GAO ranked the company second after Walmart in the number of employees on Medicaid and SNAP. Amazon has used aggressive anti-union tactics to undercut workers’ efforts at several of their facilities to gain a fairer share of the company’s massive profits.

Like DoorDash, Amazon also classifies their gig workers, Amazon Flex drivers who deliver packages in their own vehicles, as “independent contractors.” The retail goliath has opted to not use their enormous political clout to defend these workers as they have faced aggressive ICE tactics in Seattle, Detroit, and elsewhere. One incident in Michigan prompted local elected officials to denounce ICE for detaining two Amazon Flex drivers from Venezuela who have protected status as asylum seekers. Amazon has also resisted calls to end their cloud service contracts with ICE.
