🖼️ • Photos 45 day improvement
45 days of progress and I’m very happy with the outcome. I’ve made my space even more me. New desks, new monitors, new cables, new artwork, new Lego. Final photo is where I started, for reference.

Hi I have 2 laptops I use for work but I don't want to connect them. I am thinking about setting up another desk with my work-issued laptop with an external monitor. Curious if you use two laptops during course of the day and if so how this set up works for you?

It’s a laptop and desktop setup but two laptops should work the same. I works wonderfully for me. Everything is in close physical locations between the two workstations so it feels the same. In my case it’s the mental switch that is the hardest, going from MacOS to Windows takes the brain a minute or two to switch.

Looks great. I personally like it darker with the indirect lighting. Looks super clean.

Really like the new set up you have. I’m jealous of the desk depth. You still have room for some trinkets. I thought I purchased a desk that was deep enough and now I feel cramped.

Yeah I was worried they would be too deep at 32”. I’ve always had 29-30” max but it worked out well.

Are both yours? How do you split tasks between desks?

Yes both are mine. Left is Mac for work and design/photography; Right is PC pretty much only gaming at this point.
