Hi, I was asked to complete phone verification a few days ago, but I haven't been able to receive the verification code.
I've tried both of my own phone numbers, but neither of them received the SMS. I also asked several friends to let me try their phone numbers, and they couldn't receive the verification code either.
Since multiple different phone numbers have the same issue, I don't think this is simply a problem with my carrier or my phone number.
I also contacted Wplace support by email. They suggested trying a different browser and phone number, which I did, but the problem remained. Their reply ended with:
If the SMS still does not arrive after trying these steps, please let us know so we can investigate further.
However, I replied to that email afterward and haven't received any further response.
That's why I created a Reddit account to ask here. Is there any way to fix this issue? I'm currently unable to paint because my account is stuck on the phone verification screen.
My Wplace ID: #7973967
Thanks!

For more than 4 month we are defending this place agains a user with ten accounts, so if anyone around doesn't know what to do with their pixels you can help us rebuild !
here is the template : https://i.imgur.com/YEkEDyN.png
Here is the list of his active accounts if you want to help with reports, be careful as he impersonate the other players nicknames to make them look bad. Just be sure you're reporting the right ones

In the next/future update, I would like to see a button for reporting violations by a player who is in a clan, to combat the use of multiple accounts/bots, as well as adding a ban icon next to the banned player, so as not to send a second complaint to an already banned player.
You may have noticed that during the game, there are clans with multiple identical nicknames and roughly the same ID (#). It's impossible to report such players within the clan, but as a temporary solution, I have to find their pixel on the map to send a report from their assigned pixel. Therefore, to ensure fair team play, a player report button within the clan is necessary.
To make things even easier, I'd like players to be able to log into other players' profiles and see their joining date, how many pixels they have installed, and what badges they have available (I wrote more about this in a letter to Wplace support).
I'm only writing here because I'm interested in the Wplace community's opinion/support on this idea. It's not for nothing that there's a tag "Ideas" here.

I don't need to explain to everyone who participate in this event. But I'll list here all the reasons why the event is terrible and bad for the game:
This event activly discourage drawing art in the place of tiles - the moment you try to draw someting, it's get instantly grifed by someone who just farm point for themself, without no penalities for such. (I remind you that drawing art and expressing themself at Wplace it's kinda main thing about this site)
Moderation do nothing with grifiers, they staight up ignore all reports for trouble makers in this event, basically encouraging it for gaining point as a «best strategy», making it all almost unplayable. It's not like they didn't working, it's that they just don't consider this mess an "Issue". If Wplace has less of a number players and popularity in general, that may be forgiven or get deal with, but their team do nothing to stop this behavior to occur.
Donation drain — The only thing why this event even exist, is to suck out your money for donation, so you can «buy» charges to get more points for your team/defend you art e.t.c. And even if do that, it's heavily useless, because grifind is not banned but instead encouraged, you just throwing money down the drain for NO reason, it's not only unmarketable, it's staight up harming image of the platform. While you see «this» up here, you didn't get motivation to play «more», instead the opposite feeling of that. (And that not like players in wplace just that, you can clearly see at borders of event enough arts that just good and OK, with much less grifing there, it's not issue with platform itself but just this event)
In result, this event fails complitley to put a message it's intended to do. Also it didn't profitable in any regard, because you can't defend your art forever, only reasonable way to make something comes from collaboration - but even that wasn't enough, as we see with this example at last tile.
There's not even an Issue with clear inbalance with teams, obviosly when you can see wich team is winning, you join winning side, and you unable to switch teams so your choise is permanent. This idea was doomed from the start, but it's not balance issue that make this event so bad, it's all listed thing up here that I listed, makes participating in this event very discouraging.
I hoped Wplace team learn their lessons and don't repeat same mistake again if they wanted make another event simmilar to those. (but my hope is already lost)
