Shocks

Took my ride up Red Cone pass today and it's become apparent I need new shocks, so I'm soliciting y'alls input on decent ones. I have a 23 JLUR with the Extreme Recon package for reference

How many miles do you have? And what’s your tire psi? It’s only 3 yesrs old you shouldn’t need shocks, but they do bounce around if you don’t disconnect the sway bars and run 35psi in your tires- I’ve found a stock rubicon can run over a whole lot, but disconnected sway bars and proper tire pressure made a night and day difference when I was in the San Juan’s

I have Fox 2.0's with remote reservoirs and DSC's. I'd at least look at Fox's. They're rebuildable.

Grew up riding MTBs and would accept nothing less then a Fox shock. Makes sense

I've been happy with them on and off road. Kings are comparable and great but IMO if you're spending a lot of money buy ones that are rebuildable especially if you wheel your rig.

ShockSurplus channel on youtube is a great way to educate yourself on shocks and all the different features and technology. Highly recommend adjustable and remote resevoirs for hot climates to reduce shock fade on long drives

I had a 2020 gladiator Rubicon with the Mopar fox shocks. They were rough. I replaced them with falcon 2.1 (no reservoirs) they were just as rough. Wish I had gone with bilsteins.

These are expensive but after three sets, I love them. Falcon SP2 3.3 - they are adjustable on the fly. Get your wallet ready.
