Another question about jets

Hello all,

Newer owner of an XR and looking to do a few mods (air filter, exhaust, rejet). Just wanting the bike to run a bit cooler and sound better.

I live in Montana and my altitude is about 3500ft. I ride in areas that go up to about 8000ft. Anyone here riding in similar altitudes and what jet kit did you go with? Thanks!

Sigma 6 kit, tell them what u did and ur altitude, u get instructions, all jets, shims and drill bits (u prob won’t use) for like $50 delivered

I was tripping on how hot my bone stock 2024 felt like it was running so I bought an oil temp dipstick. The temps never got above 230F riding around the city. normal operating temp says 250-300 on the paper that came with the oil temp dipstick. I imagine at 75 mph with constant higher rpm’s the temps would get higher
