How cooked is the r6

Heard a strange noise 14 r6 thought it might be the CCT took off timing cover and saw those metal shavings, how screwed is it.

Drain the oil and cut open the filter. Those bits are hanging out there because of magnetism, and are probably just from the cam gears and chain. I wouldn't be too too worried just yet.

Little shavings like that cant tell you much honestly.

What kind of noise and did it still run after that? Cam chain rattle isnt that hard to miss

Eh. Its probably just wear from start up.

Its the non-magnetic metal in oil that you really have to worry about.

Noisy R6 is probably cam belt tensioner issues

They don't have cam belts. Cam chain

Is its new like first 600miles its more than likely just the engine just sorting its self out
