Baron H Bar Install

I've seen countless posts and comments about the Baron H Bars and how you can use the factory cables with them. But literally no one has explained the process. Do I just need to remove that front "guide bracket" for the cables and it frees them up enough to clear everything? The front brake has plenty of slack on it so I'm not sweating that one.

My Bolt came with them installed, but they had a crazy harmonic vibration. After some research I opted for a set of hard mount bushings and during the install I removed the bracket you mentioned.

Save yourself the headache/handache of doing it twice and order the bushings before installing.

Well the person who installed them likely didn't use the bushings that come with the bars. The Baron H bars come with metal replacements for the rubber "washers" that are on it from the factory. But I am making assumptions here. It's very possible they did have them installed and it still was having bad vibration.

To put it bluntly, after fixing/removing the "mods" that came with it... the previous owner likely had substance problems.

I would put it well within the realm of possibility that he lost them because there was nothing other than the stock rubber bushings in there.

So, to answer your original question, they fit with stock everything, but removing the bracket does make everything easier.

Mine didn't come with bushings so that could of been the case for the previous owner too.

I removed the guide bracket you are talking about yeah. Re-routed the cabling and it all worked at stock length.

Did you have to disconnect anything to to do this? Or just wiggle and massage them around?

I didn't have to disconnect anything but did re-route. Put everything on the bars and then get the bars in place, didn't have enough line to put everything on after. It was a while a go but I remember it wasn't too bad, took like an hour or so.
