Pearson Township Wetlands Trail

This is a newer trail that was built and opened from October 2021. It is a gem of a place now that one has to check out of the local nature.This large mesa overlooks the Pearson Wetlands and is a designated conservation reserve.  The trail starts with a difficult 210 m (.21 kilometers) climb up a rocky cliff to the top of the mesa that has a 5 km moderate loop trail. This is a new Nature Conservancy of Canada Hike. It is primarily on a large Mesa overlooking the Pearson Wetlands. Here is a moment I did in January 2022. Just a showcase of a few of the moments you will see on this trail.

Hello!

My name is Jacob. Last year, my sister Aubrey was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 26. Her and I are big fans of Love on the Spectrum and we thought “why doesn’t this exist for chronic illnesses?” So we made it exist!

We just completed our film festival circuit where we picked up several awards and today we’ve released the doc to the public. It’s 22 minutes and our ultimate goal is to make more episodes that feature other chronic illnesses.

There's not many historical hikes in the USA, even fewer on the west coast (I envy my English relations, a walk around the neighbourhood can take you past 1,000 year old landmarks), but here's one just west of where I live. Note: the leg I use is the Ossur Cheetah Xplorer. It's my second such leg, the first one didn't start to delaminate until it's 7th year which impressed me.
