SO i decided to do a full redesign of the cunning hares after making my original nekomata redesign post, as i thought it would be a fun design experiment for me to try! ill try not to ramble about my reasonings for each design, though that will be quite difficult since i am very passionate about character design (^///^)

i wont go over nekomata, since i already made a post going into detail about my redesign choices, BUT i will say that i genuinely loved redesigning her and probably enjoyed redesigning her the most hehehehee ✪ ω ✪

billy:

okay so when redesigning billy i decided to actually base him off of the 60s-70s black american disco movement & other movements that emerged around that time that centered around black people and black art<3 i get why this might not be a popular change since billy is so well liked (for good reason, as i also love billy (^◕.◕^)) but i think as a redesign i executed it quite nicely if i do say so myself 🥹 and before you say it..no i am not race bending him. he is a robot. he does not have a canonical race😭 also i added a little tie cuz i thought it was cute on him and matched his eyes (❁´◡`❁)

nicole:

with nicole i actually struggled a bit, since i had a hard time actually distinguishing what was going on in her design (specifically her top area) so i simplified it! i understand if u dislike her newer pigtails, since they aren't as extravagant as her canon hair, but i think they are quite cute either way:3 i added a fishnet sock on her left leg and a hare tattoo!...hah...get it...hare..like the name...hah. i also changed the bangboos bow color, added hair bows to match that bow, changed her necklace color, added a little key chain on her suitcase, changed her tail color, and even added sunglasses! it was both very fun, but also took quite long😪

anby:

anby was the last one i did, since i actually struggled the most with her redesign! i genuinely like her canon design, so i was quite stumped on what to do with her. though i did have some complaints about her canon design...specifically her top. idk why, but it looks strange to me. maybe its her body type and the angle that made it look odd, but it looked oddly like a child top being put on an adult for no reason. i know that makes little sense, but thats just kinda what i associated it with (˘･_･˘) i changed her face since it looked a bit off to me, though thats just a style preference rather than a critique really. i added a knee pad to make that leg less empty, cuz i thought it looked vacant and in need of something. and finally i added little hare ears to her hair! its not super obvious at first, but i do think its a silly little nod to the name of the group >_< and before yall say it..yes her backpack is still there, i just had to remove it cuz it was in the way and didnt have the patience to add it back in the actual image, so just pretend its there😭 (note: i did not change her top to be a puritan. she is still rather revealing by most standards, so obviously i dont actually mind some skin..i just genuinely did not like the top for aesthetic purposes..if i was a puritan i wouldve fully removed the thing on her thigh and given her a longer skirt)

final thoughts:

so tbh if i were to go back in, i wouldve made nekomata have some orange in her design to match billy more, which was for sure a lack of foresight on my part. as a standalone design though i think it was very cute:3 im not super happy with my anby redesign, but yk it is what it is 눈_눈. do i think this post will be received well? no. im aware that this fandom generally is rather...harsh to re-designers, since a lot of zzz fans view it as an insult of some sort that is tarnishing their favorite characters. just..dont be weird please. i cant believe i even have to say that since i thought that was kind of obvious, but try to practice basic human decency (￣﹏￣ )

May I ask why people prefer the new redesign to Clarets model over the initial one?

I'm still thinking Sarah has a role in the ZZZ world despite her apparent end in version 2.5. In version 2.2, she treated Phaethon as an important player which could influence the game. Considering Sarah's experience as an ex-H.A.N.D member (if she really was one), influential member of The Exaltists, and experience of infilitrating corporation (possibly more than one) under TOPS, i think she would be a good info-trader for Phaethon if they decide to face the "real enemy" inside New Eridu.

I don't really follow Season 3 because i stopped playing after Remielle's banner but i do know the fact that the one of very elite of TOPS (called Three Pact or something like that) is eyeing Roscaelifer for his own ambition, and Serpico & Truvia are his adopted children. Serpico (and possibly Youkai and one f the Three Pact behind him) would be their main enemy for now but sooner or later, Phaethon will realize they have to face the TOPS head-on if they want to uncover more about them, their teacher, the Helios Academy, and to protect their own existence. Hopefully, Sarah could be put somewhere in the game, being alive (revival isn't an impossible thing thanks to the magical nature of Hollow and The Creator) to be some kind of ally for Phaethon. Betraying and betrayed are not a strange thing on Sarah's life so i think she could also be a double-edged sword for them and become future enemy.

So many options for the devs to expand on whichever direction her story would go, and i hope they don't end her abruptly like in 2.5 after long buildups since the early version of the game.

So I had been moving around for a year for work and didnt really have time to sit and play until now I've settled into where I am now. I used to run Alice, Yuzuha, Vivian and Miyabi, Yanagi, Soukaku. These teams feel super weak comparable to when I was actively playing. Yet I go to Game8 and YouTubers to read up a little and they still say Miyabi is T0 and Alice is T1+ and I cant get them to do as good. Power creep is strong I feel since most teams have this wind character which I dont have. Yet I did get Lucia and I also got 2 remielles (pulling weapon since she hot). I have Miyabi, Yanagi, remielle, Alice, Yuzuha, Vivian, Lucia, Yixuan, S0 Anby, Astra, Evelyn, Harumasa, Caesar, Burnice, Qingyi, Jane Doe, Zhu Yuan, Nekomata, Lycaon, Ellen, Soldier 11, Grace, Rina, Koleda, and all the As except Manato. What would you experienced proxies throw for an end game team i can build as I go through the story I missed out on.

i still have yet to pull on the guaranteed dialyn/yuzuha/harumasa banners. some advice on whether i should invest my pulls into their respective engines/mindscapes or if i should skip would be appreciated

Personalmente considero el Ship harem una de las proyectadas más estupidas de cualquier obra, porque seamos claros no es algo propio de Zenless Zone Zero sino de muchas obras en general ( Issekais en su mayoría ). Pero para cualquier obra que se tome en serio así misma o su publico es algo ridículo. Osea que sentido tiene que en un mundo tan enorme tantas personas se fijen en un ramdon que justamente es el prota, peor es que sean todas mujeres sin que el tipo nisiquiera lo intente, es hasta misógino pensar que tantos personajes queden condicionados a un solo interés en lugar de explorar relaciones más complejas entre ellos. Porque haber llamanme loco pero dentro y fuera de la ficción todos tenemos gustos, preferencias, y nuestra propia forma de percibir el amor fuera de la calentura.

Pero bueno es solo mi opinión. 🤪no es necesario que me arranquen la cabeza como si le hubiera faltado el respeto a alguien.

Roxy got my snake so solid that even a devil may cry, and even if she takes me on some kind of bizarre adventure, I'd do anything to be in her golden wind and smell her breath of the wild. And if I don't get M6 on here, I'll be dead by daylight while marveling at my rivals who were able to do it instead. And while many among us might not believe it, my love for Roxy is as sturdy as diamonds are unbreakable. And even though I chase her like I'm some kind of monster hunter, I'll always be respectful, just in case she might one day make my steel balls run. My feelings for Roxy are like some kind of mass effect that takes over my body, and all of the other residents in my apartment think I'm evil, but I disagree. Life is just strange like that.
