Bench testing a multi-monitor Akuvox intercom setup before heading to the customer site
Getting everything configured, updated, and wired up on the desk first to make the actual install go smoothly. Gotta love a clean pre-configuration bench test!
Anyone else prefer setting things up in the office rather than troubleshooting live on site?

I feel like a broken record insisting that pre-commissioning all equipment saves hours if not days in the field. Especially when you uncover DOA equipment or other flaws. Owner of the company agrees to my face but the office techs are a special flavor of lazy and refuse to do it. He never enforces it so it never happens.
So happy my role is outside of that responsibility now.

Sounds frustrating! Glad you're out of that cycle now, but yeah—finding DOA gear in the lab beats finding it on a ladder every single time.

You guys test stuff!! My company likes to just sell a bunch of shit they know nothing about based on a sales reps word. Then leave it to me to figure out on site with no time bid into the job to do it!!

Lol! We always test before give it customer. Definitely feels like playing tech support on hard mode.

Where does one actually purchase Akuvox? I need a X910. Don't need an entire system, or an integrator, etc I just need one X910.
