Hi! First post here. Thought I'd share my latest acrylic work. 11x14 in hand made frame.

I used heavy body acrylics and semi gloss gel mediums to create this 30x40" snake skin pattern on canvas.

My first attempt 🕷️🕸️🖌️🎨

So I followed a Joony art tutorial for the basics and changed the composition a bit to make it an evening scene. Accidentally made the halo a bit darker than intended but we're learning 😅 2nd pic is the inspo. Critique welcome

Painting a did of a friend starting his canoe trip. This is the first larger canvas painting. I used acrylic pen to very illegibly sketch in loved ones names to give some texture. Any feedback is always welcome!
