Phase 1 Maria Hill in Avengers

I just noticed, anyone else find it weird when everyone was on the helicarrier and Tony was talking about Loki's likely plans for the cube, Maria was watching him the entire time and yet the super spy didn't notice him planting a data stealing device on the ship?

I don't think it's weird in the movie at the time as we like and root for Tony and we don't really know Maria but it's weird in retrospect

Didn't find that weird. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Tony is sneaky and Maria is behind him. He's animated and uses his hands alot when he talks... He tapping the screens while moving around and making quips about fury not having peripheral vision on one side, as a distraction.... And it worked ❤️

I'd expect Tony to be able to trick most people or a lesser spy but Maria was watching him and she's Fury's right hand she should've been more attentive of what Tony was doing with the computers and conscious of who he his

Maria got a job at Stark Industries after SHIELD fell, specifically to hide behind Tony’s army of lawyers. Read into that what you will.
