Alarm.com Down

My panel is currently reporting a Broadband Network Failure, and I’m also unable to log in to the app. This appears to be part of a larger-scale service outage, as the panel itself is unable to establish a connection to the backend services.

At this point, both remote app access and the panel’s connection to cloud services are unavailable, so this does not appear to be an issue with my local network or internet connection. It looks like there may be a broader platform or server-side outage impacting multiple customers.

Same here - looks like it’s a nationwide outage

My app just came back up. But it’s slow. Guess they are working on it.

Edit/update 930p edt: it is intermittent. Down right now. Luckily no panel comm errors for me, and my local cameras even still work (from IQ panel to cameras for live stream)

My app never came back but my panel did clear the Broadband Network Failure.

I’m irritated that I can’t enable local automation on the flood lights - we use one as our back door light with a smart switch to turn it on and off. With this outage, the smart switches don’t work.

Just curious- Which smart switch and panel do you have? Which protocol are the switches using? My iq panels kept working for all local zwave devices during the outage. Even automations were still working (like where a sensor opening would trigger a smart switch. )

Z-wave devices work fine, but the Alarm.com flood lights are WiFi control only via the alarm.com ecosystem - all automations for them go through the web service.

Ah. Thank you. Didnt even think about the ADC floodlight camera. Was thinking standard floodlights. Makes sense.

Same here. Panel keeps beeping, can't log into the app, and the monitoring center isn't answering the phone!

There was an operations alert on the dealer side indicating a brief head end outage. Fortunately it was very brief.
