Rapture Protocol advice?

Greetings hive mind!

In October there is a local con im planning to run at. Its a 4h time slot and id LOVE to runrupture protocol, or a part of it. From what I can see its about one session per act. Does anyone e have any advice to turn it into a oneshot?

I dont have any real helpful advice besides to say cut the entire first act and give them a speed run play by play of the events and start mid act 2

Couldn't remember which scenario RP was until you specified the entirely pointless and skippable first act!

I agree, the first act is a very slow burn and can be easily skipped- just jump straight to landing at the facility

If you’re playing at a con I would be tempted to keep the pressure on more than in a home game; have the xenomorph turn up more often or have more active conflict between the two parties

Hope's Last Day is probably the one most suited for a Con (in terms of time). Otherwise the other adventures are just really tough. I'd highly recommend a practice session for any of them before the con to try to work out any kinks.

Chrysalis is suitable as well. It was released just a few weeks ago and my group played through it in about three hours.

Looks like it is currently only available to the Evolved Edition Kickstarter backers. My bad. Hopefully it is more widely available soon.

They were selling the physical version at Gen Con.

Played this at GenCon. We started as the shop was landing on planet. Spent most of our time in the base, and ended with a quick run to the tunnels, where I assume the GM skipped straight to the end fight in the room with the heads.

Did they use the stowaway character at all?
