What places might help with gas cards? I’ve asked on Facebook and was told to get a job. I have a job just struggling this week. My vehicle was in the shop for more than a month so trying to get back going again. Any tips on who or where to go to?

I was accepted to the local IBEW 602 with a score of 95 and put at #75 on the list. I know we’ve got a couple big data center projects in the area. I was curious if anyone had any similar experience and how long it took them to get a call or if I just need to sit down shut up and play the waiting game now. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Please beware of Underwood & Collins Auto of Amarillo and Tyler Underwood specifically. He was paid almost $8k on July 16th-23rd for a vehicle and never produced it. (Screenshots included for those curious, recorded audio of convo available upon request)

TLDR; Yes- I have already chewed my s/o out for sending money before the car was there, however thankfully they did not sign any paperwork for any vehicle and no bill of sale was produced and Tyler Underwood was paid VIA debit card. My s/o naïvely gave this dealership the benefit of the doubt because Mr. Underwood is a customer of the company my s/o works for. My s/o has been extremely patient with this dealership due to there being a business relationship.

Anyway, After weeks of waiting for him to correct this by producing another suitable vehicle or refunding the money paid to him, we finally went in person and requested he return the money, around August 3rd. Tyler underwood assured us he would send his accountant an email and cut a check within 72 hours. August 7th we went back to his office and he had not even contacted his accountant. He promised we would have the money back within 24-48 hours. At this point we hand delivered a demand letter for a full refund of the money paid to him. Tyler underwood threw a fit and repeatedly stated “this is not how you handle this” and then threatened to give us a car “with a bad transmission and you’re stuck with it” (all of this is audio recorded) he said he would have his account mail a check but now it would take at least another week. As it stands today he has done nothing but lie and refuse to refund the money. Every week he says it will be a few more days. To this day no money has been returned.

We just want to warn others of this businesses deceptive practices. Unfortunately Mr. Underwood has proven to be a liar, thief, and crook. Please save yourself the time and financial loss and stay far away from this dealership.

It's also hilarious that they arrest us with a FELONY if we destroy one of their unconstitutional mass surveillance devices, but if an officer abuses this surveillance they are "Let Go" to go work for another police department!
