captured this video of a driver stealing my package that has stopped me from being able to work and continue making my few bits of money and when I rang Amazon not only did they not ask for the evidence since this must be so commonplace but they also refused to replace my package? I havent interacted or ordered on Amazon much but I was atleast under the belief they were a reputable site where I could trust to get help if my order went wrong but Im obviously mistaken.

Apologies if this is against the rules but the drivers face remains ambiguous during the video and I dont feel a need to edit a blur as I dont believe you could identify him as his head was kept facing down.

I ordered an Apple Watch and a charging dock through Amazon and this is what they sent me. The Apple Watch came through the Apple Store via Amazon. I was told to give a one time password to the driver, which I did, but when I got inside, this is what was in the box. I spent almost $400 and didn’t get my items. Someone else got the Apple Watch and is now using it and since it’s been turned on, Amazon refuses to refund me.

EDIT: I just contacted Amazon leadership again and they finally are giving me a refund on the Apple Watch. I will make a new post for y’all to see this conversation because it was funny

I pre-ordered a book through Amazon that i KNEW was guna sell out. I pre-ordered is 9 months ahead of the release date. I still didn't get the book and got a here's. Your money back instead. Fkn useless. I wouldve bought it from anywhere else. So instead of Amazon with an auto reply saying we dont have any more pre orders for sale. I get an empty promise from Amazon while they make billions. We are just treated like cows by this company.

Sooo I contacted leadership again today in regards to my watch not coming in. Person 1 was a regular employee who was no help and told me that leadership wasn’t going to be able to help either.
Person 2 is the leadership team giving me my refund. Soooo person 1 has no clue what they are talking about then. Typical Amazon right?

Has anyone else had issues lately with paperback books from Amazon? It’s like a lottery lately whether it comes in the plastic envelope or a box, but either way there always small bends or tears or wear… and I know that’s kind of the purpose with paperback books- to break them in and read them- but I should be able to do that myself… are they just tossed into giant piles at the warehouse or something? Is it happening when they’re packed? Either way I’m paying for them new and 3/4s of them show up looking thrifted… I’ve given up with customer service/complaints/replacement because it’s like every book…. Anyone else remember when books from Amazon used to show up in their own tight custom boxes? Packaged safe and special? What happened?

So I have an issue.

I ordered this book on August 27, as you can see in the image provided.

It was supposed to be shipped in 1 day. Still haven't gotten it today. So I was going through customer service and accidentally fat fingered it and clicked "replacement" and not "refund".

So now they'll send out another book, and if I get two I'll get refunded.

But what if we never get that first book because its forever stuck in transit? Do they just hold that 63 dollars until they deliver it and I can return it?

Its also not letting me cancel the replacement or anything which is even more frustrating.

Edit: seems like I was mistaken. I was not charged for the replacement but I worry if I'll be charged once I get it?

Hello everyone! My package from Amazon was lost in transit. When I contacted customer service about getting a refund, they wanted me to issue them a government ID. I think that’s ridiculous. I’ve been an Amazon Prime customer for close to 15 years. I’ve never seen such ridiculousness on their part just to get a refund because their employee screwed up. I wanted to know if anybody else is going through this or had this experience? Since they refused to refund me, I’m going to go through my bank and file a claim to get my money back for Non delivery of goods.

This is quite a long post but I need to add everything in for context.

First of all, I ordered two items to the amazon locker and got notification that it was there so I went to pick them up.

Unfortunately, the touch screen on the locker was faulty so I contacted amazon and they were quite unhelpful telling me to come back a different day.

The two items I needed were important so I went onto the amazon app and re-ordered both items but this time to my house as I knew I was going to be home the next day which was the guaranteed prime delivery date.

This was yesterday, I was a bit suspicious at about 2pm when neither item had arrived at the delivery depot so I contacted them on the web chat to be told the usual stuff that they will prioritise the order and it will definitely arrive today. (which it never ever does!)

The associate also added that if it didn't arrive by the end of the day then to contact them after it had been delivered and they will compensate me for the late delivery.

It got to about 9pm and I got the email saying the items had been delayed in transit and my new delivery date was today.

Feeling a bit annoyed now, I went along to the locker again in the hope it had been fixed but it was still broken.

Came back home and had to go through five different associates to get them to understand that I wanted to cancel the locker order as it was inaccessible and give me a refund as I had ordered identical items to my house which now also was running late.

Eventually got them to refund me for the locker items.

So, this afternoon the late items arrive so I contacted amazon again and at first I thought great as the first person I spoke to on the chat apologised and said as a gesture of good will they will refund for the late delivery items.

They asked if I wanted the refund back on my card or gift card so I said card please.

Then they said oh, I need to pass you to another associate. This person then said I'd been given the wrong information and they can't give me a refund or any compensation so I asked to speak to someone higher up.

This person was very rude indeed when I explained and insisted several times that the order was on time.

I said I had a guaranteed delivery date of the 30th August and you've delivered it on the 31st August so it's late. I also stated that the initial associate had said they'd give me a refund which you are now saying you won't give me.

They kept cutting and pasting stuff and saying over and over it was delivered on time. Despite the fact I have screenshots and emails showing the guaranteed date and the email apologising for the delay and new delivery date.

This person said it was his final decision that the items were delivered on the correct date and cut me off.

So this time I opted to call them back and spoke to someone else who then passed me to another person who told me that they can't give any compensation until 2nd September and mumbled something about their computer system won't let them and being updated with the carriers. I admit I felt this was just an excuse to get rid of me off the phone.

I've got all the screenshots saved including the promise of a refund and I will wait til 2nd September and call them back.

I hate being lied to over a delivery date. As far as I'm concerned if when I order it says a particular date that is the date I expect the items to arrive - after that it's late.

They used to have really good customer service but it's gone downhill it seems.

Been having this issue for awhile unnoticed and a few weeks ago replaced my card only to all of a sudden have another charge from 'amazon channels' come out. I dont have amazon, and no one else is my family has my card connected, I've triple checked and somehow I'm still getting charged, even after getting some of my money refunded

Ordered household supplies last week to have them delivered on Amazon Delivery Day and got some type of credit for waiting and made me feel better about packaging/gas. But then it never came. There was never even an email that it was out for delivery. When I checked the site, it said it was out for delivery, but didn't show where on the map or the driver or anything. I was told to wait a day for a refund, but I need the dog food and laundry detergent more than the refund. Anyway, what is even the point of consolidating it all into one delivery 4 days out if it isn't even delivered on that day?

The other day, I was checking my email and I got one from Amazon to say something that I had ordered would be delivered tomorrow at 4 AM to 7 AM. I just assumed that at 5 AM a delivery person would have the common sense not to ring my doorbell incessantly. They rang and rang and rang. And yes, I woke up. It wasn’t enough to just keep ringing my doorbell. They then called me on the phone and when I said it’s 5 o’clock the woman started to argue with me and said your instructions say to go up the stairs and she said I’m following your instructions. I couldn’t believe it. I just hung up mean I actually need my sleep. I don’t know if anybody else has this experience, but that was over the top. It was also the first tine I had ever gotten a notice of a delivery like that. I don’t know how you control that. Maybe next time I’ll write a note on my door and say please follow instructions unless you’re here before seven. unbelievable.

Just saw the video showing an Amazon driver stealing a package from the customers doorstep-after he took a phony photo of delivering it. Wow-I thought my beefs were bad.

My current dilemma (which dwarfs in comparison to prior poster’s) is I ordered hiking boots for a strenuous hiking trip very soon. First one was delayed continuously, went through the whole process where the customer has to solve the problem. Got nowhere: Amazon doesn’t even honor escalations from Amazon employees!

So I tried ordering the same item again, this time from a reseller thousands of miles away. Same sequence of events: for me, sadly, these boots are sold out at retail.

Communicating with a series of robots that write & sound like humans, but can do nothing except work for pennies. Realized that Amazon is really falling apart: firing 18K human workers, replace them with robots, except surprise! The robots aren’t effective oh but they are so much cheaper!

Appears that delivery problems start way earlier: the Amazon fulfillment centers aren’t even scanning in the resellers orders. This is the first step in the fulfillment process. Happened to me before and it’s happening in real time now. And there’s not a thing I can do about it.

We’ve all become addicted to prime shopping and quick delivery. Turns out it doesn’t work. I’m just wondering if all of us will wake up in my lifetime.

Imagine a world where the robots take over….and they’re not very good at it. Perhaps the robots will get so disgusted, form a union (that can’t be stopped) and recombine human DNA so we can get back to the garden.

Hey there. I had two items to return ($20 and $80) and ordered home pickup (by Intelcom).

The courier happened to come when I was out and, instead of reporting it as “no show” (or whatever it is called), he reported that my items had been received by him, and I got the refund already.

I don’t need those items, but very likely, due to hygienic reasons, Amazon won’t be able to resell them. Also, I don’t want to cause any trouble for the dude (even though he did a stupid thing), so I’m not sure how to proceed here. Leaning towards simply moving forward, but wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?

Just as title says. Game was preordered on june 6th, original release date was supposed to be september 25th, but it was actually changed to the 4th just a few weeks ago.

On the product page it has the right date, but on the order I made it says the 23rd.

Does anybody know if this is just not updated and the game will be shipped in time? Or will they now make me wait until the 23rd? The game is not out of stock, I could still order it again with the proper release date.

So my question is: Is this normal and I shall wait and see, or shall I cancel the original preorder and set a new one?

Oh and yes, this IS with prime delivery.

I'm at a total loss for explanation on this one.

I've lived at this same address for 15+ years. I've had the occasional weird delivery to my address over the years but it's been rare. I've had more issues with USPS than Amazon. Then I had my house painted. They delivered stuff while my house was surrounded by painting supplies, ladders, paint company vehicles, even with all my patio furniture pulled into the yard and house numbers removed during painting. I got those deliveries no problem. As soon as the painters finished the weirdness began.

The first two deliveries were taken into my carport and set on top of my trash can. This is a longer more obstacle laden path than the front porch. I said, weird but ok. I even double checked the front was totally cleared after painters left. It was fine. The next delivery didn't come to my house, they put it on the neighbors porch. I recognized it from the photo. I went and got it with no issues. The next delivery was my fiance's order. I don't know where it ended up but the neighbor who delivered it was not either of the ones on either side of us. I've been ordering things heavier than normal due to wedding planning. The wedding is 4 weeks away and I'm kind of worried the weird deliveries are going to make us miss something important.

What could possibly be causing this? What can I do?

Went to check my lists today and saw one 'shared' list along with my normal private ones, with a name I don't recognise. This person was apparently marked as a 'friend' but I have never friended anyone on Amazon.

There are no other signs my account was hacked, no strange orders, changes to details or anything. I removed the person and list and changed my password to be safe but I'm not sure what happened, anyone else experienced this?

Package was shipped, arrived, sent back, and now “package delay” but doesn’t say anything about why it was shipped back or if it was scanned back into the box it came in, etc. What does this most likely mean?

So i ordered from amazon US (Im from the uk) for a plushie i needed. Was sent the wrong plushie. I was then told by TWO associates not to worry, they will process the replacement and theres no need for me to return the wrong item. I'm thinking wow thats great, so I sell the plushie, as I already had it. Then I try to follow up today, to then be told actually I can't get a replacement, and I would need to return the item for a refund. Yes I know, returning for a refund is standard but 1. I was assured I did not need to return it 2. Id already resold it and 3. Shipping back to the US would take about 3/4 weeks and id just ran out of patience. I asked multiple times to put a complaint in , the "specialist" didn't tell me how, and just said there was nothing she could do. The item I needed was still in stock AND at a lower price than what I bought it for. I genuinely just don't understand

I just ordered a Prima Guide for Smash 4 off of Amazon, and I got an email from Amazon stating that my order had been refunded. I never refunded the book, it was due to arrive today, does anyone know why they might have done this?
