Anyone happen to catch the livestream of the new zakè album, Tide Requiem for the Low Sea? I joined in almost at the end due to work so missed most of it. But, what I heard was great. And the cover art is superb.

I’m a 16-year-old producer from Chicago working as two of swords. My debut EP, a theory of silence, explores divided feeling through desire and fear, speaking and withholding, attachment and release.

My artist name comes from the Two of Swords tarot card, which came to represent for me a state of divided feeling held in restraint, where the desire to be loved is matched by an equally strong fear of surrender. I became interested in tarot as an interpretive practice and shaped my artist identity around its ability to hold several meanings in tension without forcing one particular meaning behind the music.

That idea also connected with John Keats’s notion of negative capability, remaining within uncertainty, mystery, and doubt without demanding a rational conclusion. I wanted the EP to suggest an emotional path without deciding what every listener should find along it.

At its center is the idea that what remains unspoken between two people does not disappear but rather changes shape. My hope is that the record gives you enough room to bring your own experiences into it and arrive at an interpretation of your own.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about identity, the connection (or lack thereof) between the self and the body, and protean self-expression. This release is a shy first step in trying to put my thoughts about these things to music, and so I consider it a special release in spite of being only 8 minutes total.

In terms of sound, this is a guitar-based double-single, like my last release "Santer Clause Flying over Błonia Tonight." However, unlike it, it eschews walls-of-sound in favor of more dynamic, physical melodies that sound hackneyed only if you want them to.

I collaborated with my friend Kerem for the graphite cover art, and with James Plotkin for mastering. This is another way in which this release is a first for me — I've always done everything myself. I hope to extend my artistic collaboration endeavors further in the future!

This is my first collaboration with Axel Weiiß from Germany.

He has been my friend since I started 10 years ago!

He is a very actice musical artist who performs publicly playing different guitars-but he is also a wonderful painter-the image accompanying each of his tracks is generally one of his works as well!

We finally got together for a collaboration-and without further delay-get into the work and see if you can feel the touch of well rounded and balanced work

that is not only satisfying to the ears, but also a strong element of ambience and the beauty of the archaic-What sounds like bird songs was actually created with 1 synthesizer, blurring the lines between the realistic and the extended possibilities that sound processing offers sometimes:)

I included affectionately, the 3 only tracks remaining, because that album was always one of Axel's favorite. he very much enjoys miniaturized precision and such creativity, he was surprised I was also into that, and I was surprised that he is also into such ambient sounds:)

Axel Weiß & James-Lee collaboration: "Ding an Sich"

This is a beautiful debut by Jordan Christoff, released back in 2019 on the wonderful Constellation Tatsu label.

According to Bandcamp, he composed the album while living in the rainforests of the traditional Lkwungen region of Macedonia and struggling for indigenous emancipation from colonialism. That tall story certainly sounds fascinating, and it adds a bewitching dimension to the enveloping drones.

I love listening to this when there's a rainstorm and I'm sitting by the window, or late at night while drifting off to sleep.

Interestingly, this particular album, the first from a very prolific artist, is mastered by t e l e p a t h who has created some of my all-time favourite vapourwave and ambient music and whose outstanding albums on Virtual Dream Plaza are highly recommended.

DY3-thx12-4432 is a virtual rock band whose members work remotely in Japan and Italy, 

Founded in 2021 by Davide Perico (Milan, Italy) and Yoshimitsu4432 (Tokyo, Japan, born in Hyogo Prefecture). 

An Italian keyboardist, composer and producer named Davide and a Japanese rock guitarist and solo artist named Yoshimitsu are actively engaged in self-producing all music, video works, artworks, etc. by exchanging data remotely despite the approximately 10,000 kilometer distance between them.

Their mysterious style, in which two people of different nationalities and backgrounds create music at high speed without ever having met in person, has been the talk of the town and has been featured on TV, magazines, radio and other media, especially in Italy. 

Yoshimitsu resumed live activities in 2025, weaving his solo songs and DY3 tracks into every stage performance.

Since 2025, Yoshimitsu has also been active as the overseas tour support guitarist for his 30-year-old friend honeydip.
