Hey everyone, I'm just new to the Shizuku world and want to figure out the best apps that really changed the way you use your phones or lifestyle in general.

I'm currently using just InstallerX Revived which is amazing tbh. But I'd like to receive more apps that your recommend.

I went through my Google Payments history today and realized my purchases go all the way back to 2014.

The interesting part wasn’t really the money — it was seeing how my Android usage changed over time.

Early purchases were things like Nova Launcher Prime, Titanium Backup, Root Explorer, Tasker, Pocket Casts and icon packs.

Later it shifted more toward Google One, Google Voice, YouTube, Telegram Premium, ChatGPT Plus, plus a bit of Clash of Clans.

Looking through the list felt like a small timeline of my Android life.

Hi, by 'tools' I mean something specific and productive that the app does.

So yeah, i was using Echo Music ( https://echomusic.fun/ ) for months and it was awesome. It had lossless quality with download feature but now it doesnt work anymore... I've tested also Metrolist ( literally has the same UI like Echo ) so my giess is that these 2 apps are made by same person.

Also Simpmusic and Vivi Music ( non of them offers anything good unfortunately ) Thank you guys in advance 🙏🏼

Recently visited my grandma whose phone was riddled with those annoying pop ups etc. And 2 viruses that i found. Easy gold miner amd one more. Luckily i could uninstall them through the settings app.

Also downloaded malwarebytes for a scan.

She watches yt shorts/facebook reels which shows ads for random apps, which accidentally get downloaded by her. And then if those apps are for more reels, she starts using them, which inturn download viruses via diff ads

How do i restrict her playstore to require a password to download stuff. And is there a better antivirus that works on android? Or shud i leave malware bytes?

I'm looking for an app that only prioritizes texting experience (alongside the calls,stickers,gif etc). The apps i mentioned are too heavy cuz they're also doing other things that i currently don't need. I mean i just want to speak with people i know.

Whatsapp and signal might be the closest fit. For signal, i tried several times and did not receive any verification code,so I'm not going with that. Whatsapp's fine except for it can also be heavy sometimes.

Hi, I am searching for an camera app that can triger 10 - 20 pictures, with 1-2 sec between them, in a row and gives an audio feedback for every photo. (You might have guessed it, I wanna make self-portraits by putting my phone on a tripod)

In the gallery app on Samsung, there's a "people" section, where it divides and categorizes photos with people by face. You can combine face groups and delete them. It doesn't affect the actual photos. I wanted to combine two of mine, and accidentally deleted the main one. Now it just doesn't recognize it at all - i can't add it on the add more faces section, and when I scroll to the actual photos, it's like there's one person less. What do I do???

hey guys need tips. my dad phone keep getting ads pop up, i have cleaned the app that did this a week before but it still keep coming back every few week, he only use tiktok whatsapp and youtube. is there anyway to disable or just make sure there arent any ads pop up anymore. i had formatted this phone a year ago and it will appear after a few month. the ads are random and the app that shows it are also random and unseen, this time its Orbitclear before is another app. phone is Atel A50. tia

There is an app called Signal Hound by a group called Ghetto Coders which claims to provide alerts if your wifi connection drops or loses access to the internet. This would be good for me, but there are no reviews whatsoever and so I am suspicious. Does anyone know if this app is legitimate or malware ?

Straightforward question here. Does anyone know how to get my Google Maps app on Android to reflect local naming conventions rather than US ones? I don't live in the US, nor am I physically there. I am a US citizen (not that Google would have any way of confirming that), and I do have a US e-sim loaded alongside my local SIM.

Everyone else here sees geographic labels based on the normal local region though. My phone is the only one that has US labels. Doesn't seem to be based on system language or app language, so where's it coming from?

To make matters weirder, if I open google maps via browser I do see local labels. Same google account, but they show me one version on my laptop and a different version on my phone. Anyone know a way to get the "Region" on my phone to match my google account region?

PSA: If anyone wants to suggest I use a different app, that's not what I'm asking. If anyone wants to suggest I embrace whatever naming convention they prefer, that's not what I'm asking.
