Opinion What was the exact moment that made you drop a series and why?
For me, it was Erza's Nakagami armor from Fairy Tail.
The ability to disregard, dispel and BREAK the laws of magic? Ain't that fucking convenient! After it was established that it can literally break all of the rules of magic, I stopped watching Fairy Tail because, why bother at this point? There's no tension anymore. This is like playing toys with a kid and they have their character activate a barrier that will make them immune to everything that has ever exited, exist or WILL exist in this, or any other universe. It's such a childish way to have the characters win. We want to see our heroes overcome challenges through effort and outsmarting, not pull cheat codes out of their asses and activate the "Win all" condition. Where's the fun in that? Where's the tension? Where's the drama? Where's the challenge? Why are we supposed to care?
