Opinion What was the exact moment that made you drop a series and why?

For me, it was Erza's Nakagami armor from Fairy Tail.

The ability to disregard, dispel and BREAK the laws of magic? Ain't that fucking convenient! After it was established that it can literally break all of the rules of magic, I stopped watching Fairy Tail because, why bother at this point? There's no tension anymore. This is like playing toys with a kid and they have their character activate a barrier that will make them immune to everything that has ever exited, exist or WILL exist in this, or any other universe. It's such a childish way to have the characters win. We want to see our heroes overcome challenges through effort and outsmarting, not pull cheat codes out of their asses and activate the "Win all" condition. Where's the fun in that? Where's the tension? Where's the drama? Where's the challenge? Why are we supposed to care?

Why is no one ever directly quoted in Anime?

They won't even name fictional characters - "A famous detective once said 'Once you have eliminated the impossible whatever remains, no matter how improbably it may be, must be the truth,'" For the love of god just say "Sherlock Holmes"! I mean, he's imaginary... and public domain for over a century at this point!

Turns out I was very wrong about the public domain. Also to clarify, this is literally the only instance in which this has ever annoyed me. And I'm finding it hard to put my finger on why...

I know Reincarnated as a Sword, and maybe Skeleton Knight in Another World. There’s also the dragon from One Piece, and Rimuru. Can you name some other anti-slavery character s if you know any?

Discussion Why many anime/manga get a rushed ending?

Like, idk why the demon slayer was rushed? and the bleach author too, many were saying that he was rushing the manga and the anime is different because it's not rushed.

When anime/manga was near its end, it was so freaking rushed. If One piece with its thousands of chapters decided to have a rushed ending, probably the weirdest shi to happen tbh.

just finished Attack on Titan for the first time, and holy shit, i genuinely don’t think i’ve ever seen an anime this epic. the scale, the action, the storytelling and especially the writing are on another level. it’s easily one of the greatest pieces of action fiction i’ve ever experienced, and the writing is just fucking insane. what do you guys think?

Discussion If you have to LIVE in AN ANIME as a REGULAR CIVILIAN… WHICH one are YOU PICKING? 😭

You’re NOT the protagonist.
You have NO powers.
You’re just some random civilian trying to survive.

What anime are you choosing? And how long do you think you’d actually survive? 💀

I just finished it, it's not amazing, but it was pretty good, and now I'm curious if there's enough mangamaterial and if there's the possibility of a second season.

Discussion How big of a hater Junko is compared to the likes of DIO, Sukuna, and Frieza? (Please read)

Post image

So basically, Junko's son was murdered by Houyi (in some sources, Houyi was her husband). Unable to process her grief, Junko used her own ability to purified herself. She strips herself from anything, including her identity, until she's nothing more than the embodiment of fury, hatred, and anger. Because of this, her hatred and anger is absolute and unwavering, will never go away as she's the literal embodiment of it.

So, Junko killed Houyi. But because her hatred and fury are absolute, she redirected her anger towards Chang'e, who is Houyi's wife and the Lunarians, Houyi and Chang'e 's kind. So, for at least 1000 years, Junko is hating on an entire species, and because she had purified herself, she cannot be reasoned with. Her entire existence is to hate and kill Chang'e and the Lunarians.
