It's not robbery. All the banks changed their ToS to say that they can give your money away if they want. If you don't agree, just use a mattress.

Oh, and don't forget, they changed their TOS to apply retroactively and gave you no adequate notification and no time to move your money out.

(This is basically what happened with Youtube and Alphabet using all videos on youtube as training data for Gemini)

The mental gymnastics AI companies do to sell the idea that when their models solve a complex mathematical problem then it's totally their model's merit and it should get praised yet whenever it used to make deepfake porn then suddenly oh no how could you possibly blame the model it's totally the prompter's fault!

I mean, those are two very distinct kinds of AI, aren’t they? I’m not an expert but I figure something that just generates shitty gooner slop works a lot differently than something made with the express purpose of calculation.

That's the neat part. There the same software. Grok does both. The other can too with enough cracking.

They also torture a words definition until meaningless.

> “The “First Proof” authors tried to force the AI industry to prove its claims of “Superhuman Autonomous Reasoning” under strict laboratory conditions.

> In response, Google DeepMind:

> Broke the one-shot rule by hiding a self-correction loop in their “extraction” prompt.

> Ran multiple models and used humans to pick the best answers.

> Burned so much compute they had to abort runs.

> Submitted blind answers hours before the deadline.

> Published a paper claiming “Aletheia tackles FirstProof autonomously.”

> You are watching the collapse of a scientific paradigm in real time. They cannot solve frontier mathematics autonomously. They can only generate massive amounts of probabilistic text and rely on human lawyers and human mathematicians to sift through the wreckage to find the PR victory.”

You don't need a robot. Do what desantis did in Florida

Give ten million to your wife illegally. Make it impossible to figure out exactly who did this.

Than not only do you get away with it but you get to keep it.

Because Florida loves corruption. I guess.

"Hey, if you didn't want to be robbed, why did you put your money in a bank? What are you, stupid?"

“also, if you try to stop my bank robbing robot, you’re basically stopping this cancer curing robot I have no part in making, do you really want to stop the creation of the cancer curing robot?”

"And by "Invented," we mean we read the famous Sci-Fi book beloved by millions written 50-60 years ago called Why We Shouldn't Invent The Bank-Robbing Robot, about a bank-robbing robot. But we deserve all the credit, for the totally original idea that we invented"

There is a big difference between rubbing a bank and what AI supposedly do.

Rubbing a bank is an attack on the financial backbone of a country. On your own vallet. It can lead to distrust in the economic system and lead to a economic recession, if allowed to prevail.

Is this bait? The consequences you mention are also the consequences of AI.

Rubbing a bank was mentioned more than once; it's a kind of bait.

No it is not. AI is a new type of technology, just like thr automobil was to the horse, the sewing machine to the seamstress or the pc to the typewriter. Humanity prevailed, sociaty prevailed, but I can tell you our system won't prevail if you let robberies be the norm.

Stop with thise nonsens, not thought through ways of attacking AI. It makes you look stupid.
