Unsolved Does a bigger screen matter?

Gonna get an iPhone for the first time, currently using a 6.5inch phone Huawei Y9 and deciding wether to get the base iPhone 15 or the iPhone 15 Plus. To me: the iPhone 15 is better because at 6.1inches it'll be a new experience because I've never used a phone that small before, but at the same time I don't wanna be missing out on the better battery and larger display of the Plus. So I'm asking if the bigger screen really does matter all that much since I don't really play games that require a larger screen or watch youtube on my phone, just basic social media and light everyday use. (Don't recommend a phone other than those 2 because I cant afford anything more expensive than them im broke asf).

the plus/max models can be wildly uncomfortable to use, better to try it in your hand before buying

I use an iPhone 13 Pro which has a 6.1 inch display and it's fine for me, I would definitely not like a bigger display, but it really is up to personal preference. Also something else to consider is that the battery on the Plus may not be as better as you think. The battery times you find online are done under controlled conditions so they may be different in real world usage.

It’s completely personal preference.
