Mac IS THIS NORMAL???
Are these scratches on the apple logo on my new m5 mac air? I have severe ocd and these are out of the box, is it really common to have these? Its only visible under specific angles and with a light source. The store is refusing a replacement as i live in india and they're saying its a cosmetic issue and cant be replaced. I purchased it from official apple premium partner (imagine). Please help me out.

Whats to help? It is truly a cosmetic issue and so minor I would not even say it’s an issue. OCD on the other hand is an issue but not one Apple can treat or repair.

This is not normal…. To obsess over the cosmetic condition of a computer on a nearly in perceivable level. When I was an Apple technician, this was some of the shit I hated dealing with the most. There’s a reason cosmetic damage isn’t covered. Because some people will never be satisfied. If it bothers you that much put a case or wrap on it.

Though obviously don't put a case on it because it'll end up damaging the hinge or the screen or something and he'll be back with one of the "why is my screen broken" posts.

Yep, normal handling of the final product. If it had deep scratches you could go to the Apple Store but these are normal. Get a plastic protector and you’re good to go

you need to find a therapist if this bothers you that much (and I mean it, I’m not even trying to be a dick)
