Discussion First look at Batman: Arkham Origins
Thanks to the community! I'm 35 and played the three Batman Arkham games when they came out around 2010, but for some reason, I had absolutely no idea there was an Arkham Origins game. I discovered it today thanks to you all, and I'm diving into my first playthrough 😃😃

Discussion Bane...
I think that the developers did Bane dirty with giving him a boss battle like this. It's basically a comabt map with a henchman (that can heal himself) that occasionally will throw boulders at you (instead of unconscious thugs). What are yout thoughts?

Have y'all ever wondered what if Insomniac made a Batman game (Arkham or not)?
I mean I know the Arkham series was a big inspiration for developing Spider-Man's combat, and like I've never played any of their games but I was just wondering about this as a quick question

Discussion What colour jacket is red hood wearing?
I want to potentially cosplay him, but idk if I should get a black jacket or a blue jacket, it looks a little blue to me, but I’m wondering if that’s just lighting and you all think of it as black.

Discussion I just noticed
I was playing to my second playthrough of Arkham Asylum (for the "Biggest Bang" achivement) and the first time you encounter Scarecrow you can see Jim dead, but if you open detective mode you can see that is says "Identity: Unknown" and i found it pretty cool.

Game 3yrs, x4 games, x260 PSN trophies, x803 Riddler trophies... it is a far, far better thing that I do, that I ever done, that is a far, far better rest that I go to, that I've ever known... it was the Batman
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
INSANELY SATISFYING if you make this the last PSN trophy you earn for Arkham Knight (DLC included) or even the entire series as a whole, if this is your fourth platinum trophy completed, the last trophy for the whole Arkham series... it truly feels final, complete, a soothing, reassuring sweep over a weary world. Regardless of what people may say, these five games are worth seeing through to the end, and insanely satisfying to 100%. Despite the painful anguish of the trials and tribulations, it was well worth spending over three years of my life; now I can carry this with me for the rest of my life. I AM the Batman!

Discussion It’s unfair how nurtured console versions of the game are compared to PC
EDIT: *neutered. Fkn autocorrect
I grew up playing the original trilogy on my PS3, so years later when I replayed these games on my gaming PC I was shocked at how much better the experience is.
Putting aside modding capabilities, the sheer amount of features they just chose not to implement, even in the remasters of the games, is ridiculous
- quickfire smoke bomb (impossible on console)
- volumetric fog
- destructive environments
- interactive clutter
- much higher fidelity and FPS (it’s unacceptable that the “remastered” version of a PS3 game
runs at 30fps on a PS5)
- all of the other NVIDIA settings
In my opinion, the return to Arkham collection should have added THESE. Console players can never fully experience what the series has to offer until they’ve played it on PC and that’s really unfair

Game Watched a walkthrough of Arkham Origins and Batman's interactions with the santa claus criminal are hilarious.
Guy gets a fear of being dropped off a roof after Batman does it once.
Batman sees him again in the GCPD interrogation room and he says "just let me go: Batman retorts with "how'd that work out for you last time?"
Final time in the Mr Freeze dlc "a cold cold heart" he runs into him a third time in the XE suit which makes it funnier because his voice is muffled sounding and he finds the same guy again in less than a week. Guy says "just don't drop me off a roof" and Batman says "maybe next time" and knocks him out. Freaking hilarious. I love how he ran into the same guy 3 times.
