Altea Active Pool
Hello everyone! I just recently joined altea active and was hoping to do some lane swimming in their pool. has anyone done this and can comment on how buys it is? I have also recently signed up for my first triathlon so if you have other training tips in general I’d love to hear them!

It's fine. I go twice a week in the morning and sometimes at night. There are 3 lanes so essentially 6 people can swim at once. If you can, I'd go mid day since non traditional work hours will obviously be more busy.
I just did my first tri this summer. I would say being able to run farther than the 10k distance is what i would strive for (assuming you're doing the olympic distance). By the time the run comes around, you won't want to have to think about it so be sure you're in good running shape.
I would also say for swimming, focus as much as you can on breath work and calming yourself down. Once you get in that open water, your heart will be beating out of your chest so it's important to calm yourself down which comes with preparation.
