Cactuar & Graveyard recursion
I'm wondering if [[Cactuar]] (not jumbo Cactuar!) ability text still takes affect if it's in the graveyard.
I know there's some cards whose ability text still works from graveyard (e.g. [[Slimefoot and Squee]]). Is the rule that the text needs to explicitly mention "graveyard" for the ability to still function?

Split Second and Rhystic Tutor
Essentially, I want to give [Rhystic Tutor] split second by casting it with mana from an artifact while [Shadow the Hedgehog] is on the battlefield. Would giving the Rhystic Tutor split second prevent people from paying the 2 mana to counter it?

How does regeneration interact with simultaneous state-based actions?
Suppose I control Captain America, Living Legend and Charging Troll, and it is my turn.
Captain America has:
“Whenever a creature you control becomes tapped during your turn, if it’s the first time that creature has become tapped this turn, untap it.”
Charging Troll has vigilance and can regenerate itself.
I attack with both creatures, so Charging Troll remains untapped due to vigilance. I activate Charging Troll’s regeneration ability before combat damage is dealt.
Combat damage is then dealt in such a way that both Captain America and Charging Troll have lethal damage marked on them. When state-based actions are next checked, both creatures would therefore be destroyed simultaneously.
Charging Troll’s destruction is replaced by regeneration. Regeneration replaces destruction with the sequence of removing all damage from the permanent, tapping it, and, if it is attacking or blocking, removing it from combat.
My question is: Does Captain America’s ability trigger when regeneration taps Charging Troll?
The two destructions are supposed to happen simultaneously as part of the same set of state-based actions, but one of them has now been replaced by a sequence of events. If Captain America is destroyed before Charging Troll is tapped, Captain America is no longer on the battlefield when the Troll becomes tapped, so its ability presumably doesn’t trigger. If the regeneration sequence happens before Captain America is destroyed, Captain America is still on the battlefield when Charging Troll becomes tapped, so its ability presumably does trigger.
Which ordering, if either, do the Comprehensive Rules prescribe here? More generally, how is a sequence of events created by a replacement effect handled when the event it replaces was one component of a larger simultaneous event?

Clever Impersonator copying Uugguu, the Omniplasm, then dying to the legend rule — which tokens do I get?
I control Uugguu, the Omniplasm. I cast Clever Impersonator and have it enter as a copy of Uugguu, the Omniplasm. Legend rule triggers, and I put the Impersonator copy into the graveyard.
Do I get two 2/2 Clever Impersonator tokens, or two 2/2 Uugguu, the Omniplasm tokens?
Thanks!

Copies of the Twelfth Doctor
I'm building a Twelfth Doctor deck and there was an interaction I was curious about. The "Demonstrate" keyword seems similar to the "Cascade" keyword, in the sense that instead of being static abilities, they're ETB triggers. "Cascade" triggers multiple times if there's multiple of the keyword on a card, so I was wondering if the same was true for "Demonstrate".
Say I were to have The Twelfth Doctor on the battlefield, and copy his ability with a card like Chameleon. Would that give cards two "Demonstrates", and allow me to copy them twice?

Abaddon the Despoiler and X spells?
Let’s say I have [[Abaddon the Despoiler]] out. I have dealt 2 damage by some means to an opponent. If I cast [[Finale of Revelation]] where X is 5, would this still trigger the Cascade due to the mana value being 2 when cast from hand? Or would the mana value be considered 7 and the cascade doesn’t work?

Lord of the Nazgûl and Tye Ring Tempts you??
So if I cast [[Sam’s desperate Rescue]] which returns a creature and the ring tempts me while I have [[Lord of the Nazgul]] and a [[Nazgul]]. Does the wraith token that the Lord creates get a +1/+1 when the desperate rescue resolves because the ring tempted me???

If I activate the exile ability of [[Cooped Up]] and sac it in response, does the creature still get exiled or does it stick around because it's no longer echanted by the aura?

Halo Fountain question.
If an opponent has [[Fear of Sleep Paralysis]] , and I have 15 or more creatures that are tapped with stun counters, will [[Halo Fountain]] be allowed to use those creatures to pay for the cost to win the game? I ask because the stun counters can't be removed and the quick-search (google AI) is insisting that it works because the counters are removed.

Compost + Superior Spider-Man
Does [[Compost]] trigger if a [[Superior Spider-Man]] goes to the yard from the battlefield when it was copying a non-black creature? What about a [[Clone]] copying a black creature?

Question about volrath’s shapeshifter
Im running a [[Hashaton, Scarab’s fist]] edh deck and I just slotted in [[Volrath’s shapeshifter]]. Shapeshifter is a very old very odd card and I assume it’s graveyard copy effect is a static ability based on the wording.
So my question is, if an opponent kills Hashaton and I put him in the graveyard, with shapeshifter in play, making the shapeshifter into Hashaton, then I use an ability to discard a creature card, does the shapeshifter see the card being discarded as Hashaton allowing me to make a token copy? Or does the static effect change what the shapeshifter is copying making the previous ability not trigger?

Sac Bolg to another Bolg
Can I sac a [[Bolg of the North]] in the battlefield to a second copy of Bolg before the legendary rule wipes one? I think not and avoided this interaction in a paper draft today but am wondering about the timing. Thanks.

Mishra Warform + Shuri, Wakandan Inventor
Hello all. Say I have [[Mishra, Eminent One]]’s warform out copying I dunno, a Sol Ring I have in play at the start of combat and it survives to main phase 2. Can I use [[Shuri, Wakandan Inventor]]’s activated ability to turn the Warform token into a copy of another artifact (let’s say Arcane Signet) to dodge the sacrifice at the beginning of the next end step since the warform is now a completely different copy of another artifact, so its name and characteristics should change also since the prior token was always named Mishra’s Warform? Or is that a fever dream and it still gets sac’d regardless of what I try to turn it into?

Lightning Bolt and Fury Storm combo
Hello, last night I was playing Tabletop Simulator with some friends, for our last game we were all playing spellslinger (Krark and Sakashima, Ral Monsoon Mage and Vivi) and my friend claimed to win by casting Lightning Bolt, maintaining priority and casting Fury Storm (with Vivi on board, only cast once from the command zone) the original Fury Storm targeting Lightning Bolt and the copy targeting the original Fury Storm, then each subsequent copy of Fury Storm targeting the original Fury Storm and he said because he makes infinite copies of Fury Storm he just wins, insinuating that he'd make infinite lightning bolts, the only magecraft card that was on the board was Archmage Emeritus so there's no way he could drain is and Vivi only triggers on cast, not copy, am I missing something here or was he just wrong?

Ilharg and Karlach - question about extra combats
Hi judges
I'm having a fight in YouTube comments, can someone please rule on this (I'm deliberately not saying which side of the argument I'm on)
- Player has Ilharg, the Raze-Boar and Karlach, Fury of Avernus in play
- Attacks with both, both trigger
- Lets Ihlarg resolve first, puts Ghalta, Primal Hunter into play tapped and attacking
- Karlach's ability resolves, untapping all three and giving them first strike
The question is, can Ghalta attack in the second combat?

Portal to Phyrexia and moving a commander from graveyard
So I had a situation happen today in a pod. Someone had [[Portal to Phyrexia]] enter their battlefield, causing a [K’rrik, Son of Yawgmoth]] to be sacrificed and be left in that opponents graveyard by choice.
On the portal player’s upkeep he selects K’rrik as the target of the portal, causing portal’s trigger to pull it from the graveyard. As that happens, the K’rrik player opts to move his commander back to the command zone.
We had a couple judges be unsure about it and they landed on having the portal player keep the K’rrik saying that the rules says the K’rrik player can’t opt to move it back to the command zone.
Is that correct?

Phelia abilities and ability counters
So I was playing a commander pod against some friends with []Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd]] as my commander. I got my attack trigger, and at my end step, one of my opponents attempted to use [[spider-sense]], targeting the ability that returns the creature back to the battlefield. I wasn't sure if that was a legal target, and nor was he, so we walked it back. Afterwards we looked it up, and we couldn't find anything that conclusivly said one way or another if that ability was a valid target for the spider-sense. Can someone shed some light on if that was a legal play?

Losing +1/+1 Counters
My Valgavoth, Narrower of Souls had 2 +1/+1 counters on it. An opponent cast Poisoner's Apprentice and the infusion trigger goes off, with them targeting valgavoth. My other opponent insists that Valgavoth loses the counters, they stay correct

Felothar, Dawn of the Abzan and Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate
If I sacrifice Omarthis to Felothar, do the manifested cards get counters? Does the sacrifice happen when Felothar's ability goes on the stack, or when it resolves?
