We are founding an Interlingua-speaking realm in Minecraft

We are starting a small realm in Minecraft where Interlingua will be the common language (in the lore of the realm, the language is called Romanesque), and we are looking for people who would like to join us.

The idea is to build a peaceful community based on cooperation: building the village together, farming, exploring, gathering resources, developing new settlements, and gradually creating a real little realm where we can actually use Interlingua while doing things together.

The realm has a simple medieval theme. You don't need to be a great Minecraft builder or know how to make huge, elaborate buildings. Simple houses, farms, roads, walls and other modest medieval-style constructions fit perfectly. The idea is to build something together and enjoy it, not to compete over who can make the most impressive builds.

You don't need to be an expert in Interlingua either. Learners are very welcome. The important thing is to be interested in using and learning the language and in participating cooperatively.

The realm is already being built, so there is a small settlement waiting for its first inhabitants.

r/IdiomNeutral , r/LatinoSineFlexione , r/Interlingue , r/Novial , r/Interlingua , r/LinguaFrancaNova ( r/Elefen ) & r/Neolatino Romance are mutually comprehensible naturalistic zonal auxiliary planned languages that resemble Latinic dialects cause they utilize le Portugaliañolish (Português + Galego + Italiano + Español + English) international vocabulary for maximized immediate comprehension & maximized international communication.

Oravia is a new language whose words are built mostly from only ~260 reusable building blocks. These blocks were not decided by me, rather they were discovered through a word embedding approach (more details here: https://learnoravia.com/about/what-is-oravia/). I then assigned sounds to them with connections to natural languages. the first building block of a word tells its semantic domain, creating a semantic structure.

The grammar is simple, flexible, and based on languages around the world. For example, we have markers inspired by Japanese, verb aspect system inspired by Yucatec Maya, and clusters inspired by noun classes in Bantu languages. In the quest of building Oravia, I searched far and wide to answer a simple question: how can a meaning be expressed elegantly, with as little learning load as possible?

The goal is a language that is easy and fast to learn across different linguistic backgrounds, while also being precise and expressive. 

Oravia is only five months old, but already has a small and active community, comprehensive grammar and dictionary, readings, entirely human-made videos of songs and stories with 700+ total views, and a structured learning curriculum

This is perfect if you want to check what oravia is about and how it works. In just these 12 lessons you’ll be introduced to 65 building blocks, or a quarter of the building block system. Along with the basic grammar it covers, it’s enough to start communicating.

It’s for Italian, French, Rumantsch and German. It should be easy to learn for speakers of any of these language.

So, I made a dictionary of 500 roots specifically for those learning Esperanto and needing roots for their vocabulary. I've compiled a huge list. I'd be grateful for a good reputation/rating. I worked on it for about 2 months and put a lot of effort into speaking Esperanto and writing down common words in everyday life

And please don't say that there are websites or platforms with existing words. The roots here are primarily for beginners to review or learn the basics of everyday Esperanto. This is a basic list, not the entire language. Then you can learn words through services, etc btw?

I personally taught myself grammar and then words, and that's why I want to help future Esperantists! I really hope for a good community and to get a good rating

Pretty self-explanatory. For me something around 600 words sounds like the minimum to include "universal" words like coffe or golf and have a reasonable vocabulary to talk
