Omg yes, for some reason no one remembers Towelie! My friends and SO look at me confused whenever I quote him. All of this to say, I’m glad someone else remembers him.
Nah. They got reasons. We are just to simple to understand them. One time I was off for like 3 days in a row and determined to follow my cat around like she oes me all the time (way back then). So I literally followed her around the first day off for hours. It was a total of 17 hours and she was so pissed off at me. I think after only an hr. Best times of my life though.
I feel like what we see as cats is really some 4 dimensional eldritch being. The cat part is just the 3 dimensional being we can perceive. Like a 4D shark peaking its head out of a 3D ocean
I’ll never understand why people are negative about cats. I’ve had them all my life, have rescue fostered dozens and dozens of them, and every single one of them has a unique personality. Such amazing creatures.

Oh wow I’m so happy this is a thing. My little one loves to dangle her two front paws off of things, I call he my dangle lady. The best is when I pick her up and she puts her arms out like Superman.
A friend of mine had an ulcer and liked pressure on her abdomen to relieve symptoms. Maybe there’s something going on with this cat where the pressure provides relief.
One of my cats loves to chase his own tail. He will also lean over the back of a chair and try to catch his tail on the other side.
Often times this results in the chair tipping over, so I had to wedge a box in between the chair seat and table so it wouldnt tip. This is what my life has become.
Probably feels incredible taking all the tension off his spine. I got an inversion table and now my cat is obsessed with getting held up by his back legs and dangled.
there's just much fun being not responsible for one's being...where you are absolved of carrying that mass of muscle, fat and bones cos someone else doing all that lifting...this is deeper (derper) than weightlessness...love being smol enuff to be able to get this level of day ✌️✌️⚡🤘🤞🫰🫰👾

Have you thought about telling your vet? This can be just weird cat behavior, but I can't help but thinking this is relieving for them in someway of some kind of discomfort.
