question

Hi im master GP mid main with 2,5 mil mastery and id like to know how much time do you think mastering azir to decent lecel would take me. He is super interesting for me and gives me kind of the same kick as gp. so id love to put him in my pool and willing to one trick for him for some time. But i dont know if its worth it or not due to azir being too hard

Learning Azir is easy but getting him to a decent level is difficult. It takes a ton of time to understand what to do in a scenario and you also have to do it while being a weak early game champion most of the time unable to contest first drake and voidgrubs. Most of the learning you'll do is learning how to get advantages earlygame before you transition into a damage dealing monster. If you get a kick from Azir you can always go for it but he is absolutely disadvantaged by solo queue team composition and it takes some serious dedication to ignore the flame and learn and master the best qualities of your kit.

Min maxing. Just get as much cs and lane pressure, limit test. Can take some time, combos are easy to do. Spacing and kiting is what you should focus on while learning azir. You should know how to sidelane, you are gp main soo it will be no problem for you. Azir has great sidelane pressure, with 2 iteams you cna take some trades that wouldnt seem possible like 1 v 3 s depending on enemys ofc. Higher elo you go players punish you way more for just being azir, always look for peel behinde walls and teammates. 1 death lategame and game is over, you cna keep your team on feet as long as you are alive. Soo try priorizing playing safe lategame in games where your team is behind.

I would more or less say 500 games. That all depends though. Everyone is different but if you take the time to learn him you will be rewarded.
