Concerned about the top, time?
Looks fine (to me) from front and sides, despite receding. However, the top is concerning me, the curls clumping enhances the thinning of my hair up top

The last picture is from more than 1 year ago and others are recent
I'm 20
And my left temple got receded a little further but now it came back slightly .
My right temple got receded lightly. So they both look similar.
But I'm scared about my crown part, also the last picture is from previous year.
Also I have that dandruff dermatitis condition.
My father got bald but he said it was cause of some products.
Although my both grandfathers and both maternal and paternal uncles have good hair.
Please tell me

I (24 M) have been experiencing hair loss and hair thinning since I was 21. I used to style my hair, turn it into mohawks and generally have fun with it, then I shaved my head and noticed that the hair loss is extremely noticeable while growing back
Should I wait out the hair growth or just be bald?
Photos are my hair now Vs how it looked 2 years ago

Hello everyone, I tried shaving my head bald and I realize that if I want to continue it, I need the right supplies, so can you please let me know what you use to shave your head especially if it’s electric/fast? Please also let me know what other products I need to have for a bald head. Thank you!
there are just photos and valuation requests, where should i go for real advices and questions from this community? can the moderators add categories on the top bar of the sub for splitting photos and texts?

Brand new to this bald thing and trying to get some insight on where in the sideburn you're supposed to end. Is it a faceshape thing? Just personal preference? Are there any general rules of thumb?
Posting on behalf of my partner (with permission - he asked me to).
I think he’s still got time, but he seems to think he’s on the verge of waking up with a dreadful comb-over.

I have always had thin hair but as I am approaching my 40s, I have been cutting my hair shorter and shorter, as it has grown thinner through the years.
Thoughts on next step? Buzz cut first?

Just kidding, but i need grooming advice! I regularly shave my head, but it's such a hassle. Hair gets everywhere and i have to clean the whole bathroom if I want a hair cut. Then two weeks later here we are again.
It's been two weeks since I had a clean shave and i have these furry wings and hair island. What is everybody doing? Do you guys go to the barber every couple weeks? Flo-bee? Any option besides clippers and cleaning in the bathroom? I'm about to give up and grow out the worst Larry David do you've ever seen but i was trying to wait till retirement age for that.

Haven't cut my hair in almost a year. One last hurrah. Been mentally preparing and set a date for my Bday which is the 30th of this month. Hype appreciated, this sub is pretty chill. Hard to let go even when it's letting go.
Thanks 💪

If you shave it off and you don't like it, let it grow out again. If it never grows back fully, you're meant to be bald.

So, I posted a before / after there a month ago. However, i came from long hair to buzzcut...
And you guys learned me that buzz and bald were two whole different worlds.
So... Here I am, one month and one razor cut later, begging your pardon.

Hello fellow balds. This is my ten year anniversary of being bald. First pic is 2026 and the second pic is 2016. It's been a wild ride.

Greasy in the morning but still 😬
Edit: I’m obviously not asking if I should hold or shave yet lol, I just want to know how simply fixable this is

I used to have very thick hair but I started experiencing some thinning and loss of hair density on the top of my head a few years back. I’ve been struggling since then to figure out what to do with my hair. To me, it doesn’t yet feel like its time to go full bald as there is still coverage when I grow it out. But no matter what I try, the contrasting density between the sides and top are always evident.
Here are 2 examples, with photos taken about 1 month apart. I am currently experimenting with a buzzcut (this a #1 guard).
Looking for advice/recommendations from others who have experienced diffused thinning.
Cheers!
