Checked off a couple baseball bucket list items by completing my chase at Fenway Park during game 1 of the Red Sox series vs the Giants then had Green Monster seats for game 3.

I understand why some people might not like these seats because of the price and obstructed view (we had row 3 in M5), but I thought it was absolutely worth it at least once.

My wife and I are headed to the Phillies / Braves game on Sunday, first visit to the Bank. I went to College at Temple and used to sit in the 700’s in summer at the Vet, times change, parks change! Overdue for a Philly visit!

Here is my ask, what are the must-eats and must-drinks? We did splurge for the Cadillac Level (224) but we plan to walk the entire park before heading to our seats so open for recos! Also must sees do’s at the park, we plan to do Ashburn Alley but open to other recommendations…

Last ask; before we head to the game we are taking the train from NY and was going to pay a visit to Independence Hall before heading to the park, is it better to Uber or take Septa from Center City?

The full name of the field is a big ol mouthful: IBEW Local 24 Union Field at Cal Ripken Stadium. That being said, great night for some MLB draft league baseball in Aberdeen, Maryland. Go Ironbirds!

There was steady rain at Wrigley for about an hour before first pitch, and I had the opportunity to record a little time lapse of the grounds crew and field ops removing the tarp and prepping everything.

My GF and I are coming to visit your lovely stadium this weekend for Friday’s match. We are (former?)Oakland A’s fans trying to mend our broken hearts by visiting other parks this summer.

I’ve always been an AL fan. so besides my teenage experience of getting to interview some of the Silver Bullets players when they visited Oakland in the late 90s, I am sorely lacking in Colorado baseball experience.

Any insights on making the best of our visit? We don’t really drink, but appreciate a good ballpark bite, local lore and quirks. Sitting in 332 row 6.

The 2026 baseball season is not over but since kids’ school started today, my season of ballpark tourism is. Here’s where my ballpark adventures took me in 2026.

1. Chickasaw Bricktown Park, Oklahoma City. Opening day for the Triple A Dodgers Affiliate. A little underwhelming for a season opener, poorly attended (it was not warm) and half of the concourse concessions were closed, though my family did enjoy the presence of three mascots. In hindsight, wish we popped in to look around and went to the Thunder game that was happening at the same time instead.

2. ONEOK Field, Tulsa. Not a baseball game, instead a second tier soccer game in a ballpark. Quite fun, beautiful view from the third base line which tonight doubled as a goal line. Great neighborhood.

3. Victory Field, Indianapolis. Beautiful stadium for the Triple A Pirates affiliate, well situated downtown. Similar to OKC, a “canal as foot traffic engine” is nearby, but this one is more civic in nature and less “San Antonio Riverwalk-lite”. Great atmosphere especially as a close game headed into the bottom of the ninth.

4. Dunkin’ Park, Hartford. Of the four minor league games I went to this season, this one (Double A Rockies) was the best attended, despite a poor weather forecast. Also right next to downtown. Team played through lightning, light rain and a rainbow.

5. Yankees Stadium, New York City. Third trip here, after we found $15 outfield upper deck tickets in the first row the morning of the game—a ridiculous steal, even more ridiculous considering my childhood and favorite team, the White Sox, were playing. Jalen Brunson and Mikel Bridges went up on the Jumbotron as the Knicks Championship parade was the next morning.

6. Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore. Second trip here. Truly a pleasure walking into this place via Eutaw Place. Love the concourses. Loved the Baltimore fans pushing back on a very heavy Yankees fan presence, but sitting behind the away dugout at least, it felt like a Yankees home game.

7. Truist Field, Charlotte. Has been an aspiration for many years because of the skyline and its role as a Triple A White Sox affiliate. Very few NC games available while we were traveling through the state in August despite NC being the heart of minor league baseball. Interesting views from behind home plate (obviously) but also along the third base line and outfield. Charlotte as a whole, and the area around the ballpark, felt quite vibrant.

8. Truist Park, Atlanta. 27 of 30 for me. Top atmosphere (did not hurt the Braves were playing the Dodgers), but I found this ballpark quite dull and only made interesting by its shopping mall / food court appendage that is The Battery. It was also a hot stifling summer night with no breeze, which made things worse. Also, no Beat the Freeze race, which I think should be every Braves game.

Was in SD and decided to knock this one off the list. It’s a Top 5 ballpark in my book.

I am going to the Red Sox v. Orioles game on Friday night. First time in Baltimore, first time in a ballpark other than Fenway. Really excited!

I was hoping you all would have some recommendation about what to see/do pre-game, post-game? Any bars? Restaurants worth going to? Probably just spending about 24 hours in Baltimore so not a lot of time to do much, but anything to know would be great. Staying right by the park, so anything walkable would be ideal.

So I went to Seattle last week and I got to see all three games of the series against my Phillies. Here are a few pics from all three games. The first game I sat high up behind home plate. The second was near the third base side. The third, the matinee game and our only win in the series, was on the first base side where you can see the skyline more thoroughly. But this place was fantastic. Just a great spot to take in overall. Easily in my top 10 MLB ballparks.

My first attempt to see the new Wilson ballpark ended in a rainout, but there was a rainbow and they had the fireworks show although there was no game. I got to see a double header the next day.
