4x2x2 or 120g is the minimum. If you have a larger female then of course it’ll need a bigger enclosure. I have my male in a 4x2x2 from dubiaroaches.com

PVC enclosures are the better option when it comes to retaining heat and humidity. I have a Dubia enclosure for my large female. I'm pleased with it. I'm sure there are other brands out there just as good. Are you planning on getting a baby, sub adult or an adult? Male or female?

Like everyone else said 4x2x2 is minimum but if you don't care about the sex of the snake and you want to stick with 4x2x2 I'd recommend a male. I have a female bp in a 5x2x2 and she pretty much is the length of the cage lol

Hey, there's a really good set of resources at https://www.reddit.com/r/ballpython/comments/arz5iw/welcome_to_rballpython_click_here_for_our/ that will suggest a number of really good ones!

4x2x2 ft or 120 gal is the recommended minimum, i.e., don't go smaller than that. You can go bigger if you like; more space is always welcome. There's no maximum size other than your budget and how much space you have.
