Question Good resource to find reliable snake sitter while out of town?

How do you go about finding a reliable snake sitter who can come into your home and check in on your pet while you’re out of town? I previously had someone who was able to but don’t anymore and will be out of town for the holidays in December and want to find someone for that time frame. Not sure how to go about it since it’s both someone coming into my home and for a snake.

I decided to teach my family members how to handle,water,feed all my reptiles 100% worth it if you got a friend who doesn’t know about snakes or something or a family member I would say just teach them the ropes rather than look for somebody else but that’s my 2 cents and they did stop making penny’s

Agree with this! This is what we’re doing for our upcoming vacation.

If you feel better about a pet sitter, however, ask your locally owned reptile shops or in reptile fb groups. I found a backup sitter who handles reptiles and fish by asking my local reptile shop.

I just had family watch my snake especially if I was gone less than a month cause she only ate once a month. So it was just checking to make sure she looked fine and changing her water. She was also super chill so if someone wanted to pick her up they could but she was also fine just being left in her enclosure.
