My ball python's head

I made a post about this before, the difference now is I've realized it wasn't always so long. It used to long normal. Now I'm wondering if any of you would know why or how? He did pass from cancer and liver failure and loss alot of weight and got really flat in his fnal moments.

Looks like his face wasnt actually longer it just looked elongated because he was underweight, im so sorry for your loss:[
