Darker marks, is it scale rot?.

If you're using a heat mat it might be too hot, or a humidity issue. Could be the start of rot. Is it flakey at all?
1 u/cosmicxclown 1h ago No heat mat, heard they're bad so I just use heat lamps. Humidity is around 75-80%. It isn't flakey, as far as I can tell when I handled him
