All the major teams in his portfolio are healthy and have won recently. SoFi is a spaceship, regional sports network infrastructure. On paper this is as good as it gets. Must be nice..

He’s way better than Moreno. He will at least spend to make the teams competitive, and SoFi is one of the best new stadiums around, so hopefully he’s willing to dump some money into renovating the current stadium/area or building a new stadium in Anaheim. It would have been better if the Samuelis had bought it, but I’d be cautiously optimistic if I was an Angels fan.

Angels always spent. They’ve roughly been a top 10 payroll team in the Trout era. They were as high as 4th in 2012. Usually hovering in the top 10 Ever since Ohtani left Arte really stopped spending and caring but his issue was always mismanaging his money lol And being cheap behind the scenes

They've spent on 3 players and neglected everything else

Minor league teams eating Fyre Fest food

Allegedly no AC in weightrooms

Escalators never working in the stadium

Cracks in the foundation

Rats in the stadium

He’s a bastard but as far as billionaire sports owners I don’t think he’s particularly bad. Id be worried if the Angels were in STL but I doubt he’s buying them to move them. You basically want your owner to invest in your team and otherwise be invisible and that’s how he’s been for the Rams since the move.

True

AND that's more satisfying for all the Angels Rams fans as not only did the Rams play in Angels stadium but now the same guy owns both!
