Found these two cuties abandoned outside my house last week. They were hiding under a car, and after quite a struggle, we finally managed to rescue them.
Meet Poppy & Pepper, two adorable brothers looking for a loving, permanent home.
🐱 Poppy — the quiet, shy one. He takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he loves being close to his hooman.
🐱 Pepper — the naughty, playful one who will keep you entertained all day!
They are approximately 2.5 months old and are:
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Dewormed
✅ Defleaed
✅ Litter-trained
✅ Healthy and active
Despite everything they've been through, both of them are incredibly affectionate. They love sitting on their hooman and sleeping alongside them at night.
🏠 Adoption Preference
We would ideally love to have them adopted together, as they are brothers and are very attached to each other.
However, single adoption can also be considered if the adopter already has a cat/pet at home so that they won't be growing up alone.
We're looking for someone who understands that adopting an animal is a lifelong commitment, not a temporary responsibility. We want a family who will:
❤️ Give them a safe and loving forever home
❤️ Treat them as family
❤️ Never abandon or give them away when things get difficult
❤️ Commit to their healthcare and wellbeing
❤️ Get them neutered at the appropriate age
❤️ Provide them with the love, attention and care they deserve
These boys have already experienced abandonment once. We're determined to make sure it never happens to them again. 🐾
If you genuinely feel you can give Poppy and/or Pepper the loving forever home they're looking for, please DM me with a little about yourself, your home, and your experience with pets.
📍 Location: Whitefield Bengaluru
🏠 Adoption: Pair preferred | Single adoption considered for existing-pet homes
Please share this post so these two brothers can find their forever family. ❤️🐾

my current college in bengaluru doesnt explicitely has 75% attendance criterea BUT my own fking department enforces that and everytime your attendance goes below 75% they call your parents and micromanage a lot (by lot i mean a LOT)
it also has some ridiculous rules such as SMS to parents if you are absent, notebook checking like scl + many others
i just want to get into a college for masters with the following criteria's -
- no absurd rules as mentioned above
- preferably no 75% attendance critera (i dont care abt it as long as they leave us free)
- decent placement (HEAR ME OUT - i am a biology student and biology as a career is fucked in this country outside t1 govt research institutes so I'd wanna sit in CS placements)
please suggest me as such

Hello everyone, I’m looking for suggestions on some of the best saloons to get a makeover done for my Fiancée.
Planning a surprise for her, part of a full day experience. Any recommendations on curated packages or even standard ones? Like Hair & pedicure? I’m keeping the facial ones as a last option coz she doesn’t prefer chemicals being applied on her face.
We’ve tried BBlunt Salon at Indiranagar before. So I’d like to explore something new and different apart from regulars like Naturals/Green trends. We’re okay to spare a couple of hours.
Any inputs for great options in Indiranagar or even further south like Jayanagar and JP Nagar are much appreciated, thanks!

Posting this because am extremely frustrated with how Wakefit has the issue.
TL;DR: Wakefit approved a warranty replacement for my defective chair, but 17+ days later I still haven’t received it. It was marked “delivered” despite no delivery or OTP. Wakefit has also promised multiple escalation callbacks, but I’ve never received a single call from the escalation team.
Looking for advice from anyone who has faced a similar Wakefit issue.
---
I purchased a Wakefit Safari Pro chair earlier this year. The tilt-lock mechanism developed a defect and the backrest would not stay locked and would move back and forth during normal use. The lock could also disengage with very little force.
I raised a warranty request with Wakefit and provided the photos and videos they asked for. Wakefit reviewed and acknowledged the defect and approved a replacement part under warranty.
I was told the replacement would take approximately 10 days.
It has now turned into a much longer and increasingly frustrating process.
Here is the timeline:
I also did not provide an OTP to any delivery person for this supposed delivery.
I have asked Wakefit to provide the basic proof of delivery such as delivery date and time, courier details, delivery person's details, OTP, confirmation and any proof of delivery or acknowledgement.
So far, this has not resulted in a resolution.
There is another issue: Wakefit has repeatedly told me that my case has been escalated and that someone from the escalation team/case management team would call me.
On multiple occasions I was told that I would receive a call within 2–4 hours, or by the following morning.
I have not received a single callback from the case manager or escalation team despite Wakefit repeatedly telling me that one had been arranged.
Has anyone else here had a similar experience with Wakefit warranty claims, replacement parts being marked delivered, or their escalation team promising callbacks that never happen?
I'd particularly like to know how others managed to get these cases resolved.

Hey everyone,
I’ve lived in Hyderabad for the past 7 years. Before this, I spent about 1.5 years in Bangalore. When I first made the move, Hyderabad felt like a breath of fresh air—peaceful, well-planned, and most importantly, genuinely affordable.
Fast forward to today, and the reality check is hitting hard:
\* Insane Rents: The rental market has completely lost the plot. People are quoting ₹50K for a 2BHK and ₹70K for a 3BHK, often in sub-par locations with barely any basic amenities.
\* Collapsing Infra & Roads: The road conditions have taken a massive nosedive recently. Potholes, poor maintenance, and unfinished civic work everywhere.
\* Peak Traffic: What used to be a 20-minute commute now rivals peak Bangalore gridlock.
\* Food Hygiene: With all the recent raids and daily reports, eating out feels like playing Russian roulette. Cleanliness and basic food safety standards seem completely absent.
\* Zero Quality of Life: Where are the neighborhood parks, decent walking tracks, or accessible open spaces to unwind on weekends? It feels like an endless concrete sprawl with nowhere green to just breathe.
Hyderabad had a massive advantage over other metros, but lately it feels like we’re getting all the drawbacks of rapid urbanization without any of the civic infrastructure to support it.
Anyone else feeling this burnout, or is it just me? Where is the city actually headed?

People participated in huge numbers against the infamous tunnel project that bores right through a geological structure that is even older than the Himalayas and was formed when life on earth was still single celled.
Wish the people's voices are heard in the halls of power.

Every weekend, I volunteer with Robinhood Army. The children study in Kannada medium. They are sharp, but English is a locked door, and the keys online are all in the wrong language.
So I asked an AI to help me build what the market forgot.
Kannada English Guru, a Duolingo-style app where Kannada is not a subtitle. It is the foundation .
Kannada UI. Kannada phonetics. Kannada hints. But the target is pure, usable English from "A for Apple" to "How much are the tomatoes?" and "I have a headache, doctor."
Built with React + vibe-coding. Live on Netlify. Being tested with real kids this week.
Play Store coming soon. I will update here when it drops.

I just received a text saying that my Gruha Jyothi verification has been marked as “Door Locked.”
The strange part is that no one came to my house for verification. My family and I were home throughout the weekend, and even on weekdays, at least one family member is always present at home.
I called the number mentioned in the SMS to understand what happened. The person on the call simply told me to visit the BESCOM office. When I asked why the status was marked “Door Locked” when nobody had visited or attempted to verify the premises, he just kept repeating that the door was locked and therefore it was marked accordingly.
Has anyone else faced this issue with Gruha Jyothi verification? Do I really need to visit the BESCOM office, or is there a way to raise a complaint/request online? Please help.
