About WAVE WAVE is a hybrid digital platform and global physical time capsule designed to bridge raw online expression with permanent real-world street art.
On WAVE, users share personal moments, confessions, and memoriesâpublicly, privately, anonymously, or openlyâwhile engaging through community reactions, comments, and shares. In addition to day-to-day sharing, users can secure spots in one of three exclusive "Waves" leading up to 2030, when one million registered digital notes will be converted into unique, QR-tracked physical stickers stamped across streets worldwide.
Role Overview We are looking for detail-oriented Beta Testing Volunteers to help us stress-test, evaluate, and polish early builds of the WAVE platform. You will have early access to test core features, uncover edge-case bugs, and provide actionable product and UX feedback directly to the development team.
Key Responsibilities * Core Workflow Testing: Test end-to-end flows including account creation, public/private/anonymous note posting, social interactions (likes, comments, shares), and Wave tier registration. * Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, reproduce, and document bugs, layout glitches, and performance bottlenecks with clear reproduction steps and screenshots. * UX & Usability Feedback: Provide actionable feedback on platform navigation, UI design, user experience flow, and community mechanics. * Cross-Platform Validation: Test responsiveness and behavior across various desktop and mobile browsers/operating systems. * Concept Verification: Participate in early validation testing for QR tracking workflows, sticker assignment logic, and scheduled time-capsule releases.
Requirements * High attention to detail and curiosity for exploring software features thoroughly. * Clear written communication skills to report technical bugs and user friction points. * Access to modern desktop and mobile browsers (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS). * Passion for digital communities, online expression, time capsules, or street art culture. * No prior technical testing experience requiredâproactivity and honest feedback are what matter most.
What You Will Gain * Hands-on product testing and QA experience for your resume/portfolio. * Direct influence on the product roadmap and user experience from day one. * Exclusive beta tester badges and priority placement in Wave release tiers. * LinkedIn recommendation and professional reference upon consistent contribution.
Please ensure your application or message includes: * The primary devices and browsers you use daily (e.g., iPhone/Safari, Windows/Chrome, Mac/Brave). * A brief line on why you want to test WAVE.
