🖤 An Interesting Specimen
This is Gryffin. He is 13 years old screams like a banshee and is the first cat I’ve ever seen drift (he has no idea where his back legs are from a injury when he was a kitten) and he, also well, he looks like that.

Well now I'm feeling pretty f stupid since I distinctly remember checking twice, the comments too, so that I would use his real name and still couldn't find it. I wasn't kidding when relating to mr Gryffin deep-seated tiredness.

You’d love her. She was a rescue from a very sat situation. She was hurt. It’s taken her almost 3 years to fully trust. But she’s the queen now!

Those are the best. I have had a dog that came from a bad situation. Some things she overcame but others were just hard boundaries. 17 wonderful years with her. I have another dog from another sad situation now and he trusted pretty quickly, but can confirm that there is no bond like the one an animal forms with a person they learn is safe after bad things. They are ride or dies in the purest sense and it heals something in me. May you be blessed with many years with this beautiful queen.

My brother has a cat that drifts, because he is a tripod. He doesn't let a missing leg deter him from speeding around the house, but the back traction isn't great so he has learned to slide around corners lmao.
