A spell for separation?

My best friend has been in a super toxic relationship for a year and a half. He treats her very badly, he's even hit her, and it's getting out of control. The police have even gotten involved. I just want to help her get better

The desire to change needs to come from her. Depending on your current practice you might be able to do a domination spell and override her will, but again, depends on your current practice. If there is no practice currently, then start with witchcraft 101 and get learning.

"Chaos magic" is so vast a term that its unhelpful here.

Basically, if you cannot raise or direct energy you are just mashing inert objects together and wishing.

You could try do something to make her see that he's a pos and she should leave?

I honestly feel like the best solution here is a mundane one.
