The intro has the first powerchord sequence, 7->9->10, then jump to 3, then mute, and then what?

Some tabs and videos have a 5th fret powerchord, some have a D major chord, others a d major without the high e so it's D0 G2 B3, others have a nut powerchord or whatever A0 D2 G2 is called.

So yeah how does Tony iommi play it in the recording and/or live? I couldn't find anything on the itnetnet

Everyone knows the classic run. I’m more interested in the records people discover later.

What’s the post-Ozzy or later-era Sabbath album you’d actually put in front of somebody and defend?

I’ve read so many articles over my 50 years on this planet where they quote Tony that the down tuning for sabbath songs was due to his finger tips being chopped off in a sheet metal factory accident before he was set to record the first sabbath album. The tuning helped reduce tension on the strings and therefore let him play with his makeshift fingertips with less to no pain.

However, the first album is in standard A440 tuning with the exception of Wicked world which sounds like it was slowed slightly in a different Hz pitch.
Paranoid is all standard tuning except Planet Caravan, which again has a Hz pitch slightly less than standard A440.

Then, the next 4 albums are varying degrees of tunings from standard to drop C#, then back to standard tuning for Technical Ecstasy and Never say die (with maybe 1 or 2 songs in drop C#).

So what the hell are they talking about?

Thoughts on if we got a third tribute album but all of the songs are the live covers from back to the beginning. Obviously getting the entire event would be great but I think it would be cool to have that as well. I would think the soundboard recordings would be high quality.

I have to say I’ve been listening to Sabbath for the better part of 20+ years and these two albums were always ones that I thought were not nearly as good as the rest of the Ozzy era however upon listening to both the albums recently there are some real stand outs on both and I feel like overall Ozzy’s vocals are some of the strongest here. Thoughts?

Has anyone seen Black Sabbath in the 1970s? I was Wondering what it was like during that time. I'm sorry if this is spam.

Now, before you mention it, I know it was painted by Greg Hildebrandt, and predates the album by a few years. However, they share a very similar stylistic theme, and I was curious if anyone else noticed this, or if I'm just insane.
