so in the face of the all being for the life force of lamagra flowed in their veins the children of lamagra walked the land unfettered as rightful heirs to the blood of their inferiors, for that which gives life to the lesser creatures thus gives life to the vampyre as lamagra rules us so we rule the rest and the land was at peace and the vampyre was benevolent he ruled the darkness as one should with strength and security but there was one among the spirits of the forces who became jealous one wicked demon who would not be content to relinquish his energy to a greater power and the unholy one became envious his evil thoughts festered and grew and boiled until in his rage he seduced lamagra behind the veil of tears chaining him for an eternity of bondage as then the jealousy of the unholy one rose in a fiery cloud and he lit the firmament of heaven to divide the day the light of the beast shown down banishing the sleepers children into the shadows cleaving our night in two cursing us to live as vermin in squallor in shame in secrecy and the spawn of mankind
breeding monsters and the unholy one stood over them with greed in his heart joyful only that they bowed down to him but oh chosen ones harken to my words the age of man will be short
nears and guard these signs for they signal the beginning of their end first there will come famine and war and great upheavals in the path of man then greed and lust
amongst themselves the air will become dirty the water will run foul and the land will become tainted with filth and grime that is mans waste alone with their
garden that was once our
man becomes his own downfall
Was watching the first Blade movie last night, and decided to write down the bits and pieces of the prophecy of La Magra that flashed across Frosts' computer monitor. Some great window dressing exposition that is completely glossed over in the movie, which as far as I know was written just for this movie and never used again.
The contents of the prophecy itself seem to be loosely based on the events of the christian bible. I dug around on google and found a book called "The Vampire Bible" on the internetarchive but it seems to just be some modern fanfiction. Would be curious to know what everyone else thinks about this. Posting on here just so Google can index this text from Blade (1998).
