Discussion If it’s true that Soken was dissected by Mayuri then would that mean he made him one of his Zombies?
galleryWhat do you think about this theory and do you have anything to add on?

Yhwach altered and erased this future where Orihime performs this technique, leaving himself completely unaffected by it. Does that mean her technique ultimately had no impact on defeating him? Does that mean her "sacrifice" made no difference to the fight?

All souls, after death, enter a transitional phase where they await judgment. What happens next is determined by the weight of their “curses”; their actions, regrets, and emotions from life. Those that have found peace naturally enter into the next world. Those weighed down by their curses in life remain on earth, until their business is resolved or they are purified by a “shinigami”. But those who are consumed by their curses are eventually transformed into ravenous Hollows.
Due to the fact that Shinigami themselves are souls, they are at a risk of being corrupted themselves by exposure to curses, hence they employ Sorcerers to destroy curses.
This symbiotic partnership is known as the Invisible Society.
Sorcerers - Humans with high levels of spiritual energy, and a unique anatomy that enables them to channel curses through their cores. This is generally known as their “Curse Pressure”, or “Juatsu”(呪圧), and gives them abilities somewhat resembling a hollow. Each Sorcerer has a latent ability lying within them known as a “spiritual technique”. They are said to have existed for around 200 years. They continue faceless in the afterlife, their reward to serve soul society for an eternity.
Juto(呪刀) - Blades crafted by the shinigami and given to the sorcerers to channel their Curse Pressure through, further refining it. As they curse these blades, their souls and latent abilities begin to imprint upon them until a “Shikigami” comes to inhabit the realm within. There are two levels to this; the first Jutsuge (術解) and the final Ryokai (領解).
Executive Sorcerers - Sorcerers given authority within the invisible society. Command those under them, but still considered below even the lowest ranking shinigami. They are each highly specialised to specific tasks, such as recon or support. All of them have achieved Jutsuge.
The Ju-o (十王) - The ten highest ranked sorcerers in the invisible society. They have authority over all sorcerers, alive and dead. They are the only sorcerers considered equal to Shinigami. To achieve this rank, one must be capable of Ryokai (領解), and generally expected to be stronger than any other executive candidate. They are title after the skill they excel at, and lead teams centered around these tasks.
Shinigami - They have become quite a rarity, at least in the mortal plane, opting to leave more and more of their duties to the sorcerers. Their hierarchy is unclear.

I've read several people saying that the characters didn't react much to Orihime's sacrifice. While researching on social media, I found a theory that explains this as her rejecting all the pain and suffering in the world, as revealed in the explanation of her attack. That's why Tatsuki doesn't understand why she's crying, for example.
Personally, I disagree. While Tatsuki may not know about Orihime's sacrifice, the tears clearly reveal that something bad happened, and she feels it. On the other hand, we see Rukia still covered in blood, which wouldn't make sense if pain had been rejected. Furthermore, if Orihime had rejected the concepts themselves, she wouldn't have gone after Yhwach. I interpret it more as her thinking he literally embodies those concepts. Mind you, I'm not saying she can't reject those concepts literally, only that in this case she chose to reject Yhwach.
That said, it's undeniably an interesting theory. What do you all think?

And that corner is, Ichigo should be dead.
Unlike the manga, where Yhwach does toy with Ichigo, breaks Renji's Shikai but otherwise leaves him unharmed, Yhwach in the anime has demonstrated no such designs. He is brutally and efficiently finishing everyone off from what we've seen, and killed Orihime and Ichigo off several times with no regard for Ichigo.
What follows that differs from the manga is Yhwach then brutally killing all of Ichigo's friends. Or at least, killing enough to satisfy English law. Should they survive, that's another matter.
Following from that, with the way everything is set up and following off the character beats we've spent the last 42 minutes establishing... Yhwach lifts his sword high on the air, and presumably chops off Ichigo and Orihime's heads and ends the series while Gerard kills the rest of the Gotei who cannot defeat him.
The final four episodes will now be set in Yhwach's new world.
Anything else is incoherent from what we've been shown. Yhwach changing his mind and sparing Ichigo? He chopped his head off. Why would he not do it again? Leaving Orihime alive? He impaled her five times. What's a sixth?
Bold change. Let's see how they pull off this no doubt big rewrite.

Kinda sad i didn’t get to see ichigo use the bankai for his short sword alone with his quincy and full bringer powers. Tensa zangetsu and his blood chain bankai look so amazing. I just hope we get to see this bankai.

I feel like personally yhwach would get rid of Ichigo or maybe try to absorb him and make oriheme to basically be his wife or main servant.
Reason being is he seems to really take to oriheme, he first says she accepts his powers then gives her praise and seemed as if he would have let her go when he told her she is doing good just standing in the room with ichigo and him. He also seems to be fixated on trying to make Ichigo believe she is holding him back the same way ulquoria tried to dismay oriheme. Though ulquoria at least tried to be understanding to feelings to which Ichigo notes yhwach can't do so. He then tells Ichigo that the world he wants is what she wants as well. I'm not saying he is looking for a lover, but I mean I noticed he doesn't have a mom. He basically is the opposite of Ichigo almost with him not seemingly caring for his mother or really any woman but he doesn't seem to kill them the same way he does the men. It makes me feel like if oriheme could have revived the soul king or fixed him he may have had a change of heart about all of this
Isn't that literally the flames he had when he went into Blood Chains? I am literally seeing Blood Chains in that sequence.
Some keep on saying that Blood Chains is his ultimate form and hence is his True Bankai when in fact it's stated that it's his Hollow Bankai hence why it is more akin to his Full Hollow Form aka Vasto Lorde. Infact, he is eerily similar to it. He even has the same markings and then the 2 horns of course.
What I interpretted is that, this form is when he utilises more of his Hollow Powers and you can see how he only used his big Black Blade for bankai and unlike True Bankai, where he sheathed his Quincy Blade. Heck even the flames on his hands and neck look the same as well. Also he never stated it's name unlike True Bankai | Tensa Zangetsu and Rukia even said; "That is your **Zangetsu**" not "**Tensa Zangetsu.**"
I highkey think that Ichigo has 3 bankais. Hollow, Quincy and Combined. (Dunno about a Fullbringer one though)
But hey I could be wrong about all of this.

I've often wondered what concepts Orihime's powers are based on, which led me to study some Buddhism. I found that Shun Shun Rikka seems tied to the concepts of shunyata (emptiness), advaya (non-dualism), ahimsa (non-violence), and karuna (total compassion). The first concept, shunyata, explains that all things lack a permanent or stable identity, which doesn't mean nothing exists; rather, everything exists interdependently through causes and effects. Advaya relates to non-duality, an awakened state where awareness goes beyond ordinary opposites like self and other to avoid conceptual extremes rather than perceiving a single universal state. The concepts of shunyata and advaya connect to her powers, which involve "rejecting" phenomena, reflecting Buddhism's goal of helping people see the material world as an illusion to erase suffering by creating protective barriers, undoing events, and healing wounds. Ahimsa is non-violence toward living things, as seen in Orihime's pacifism. Karuna means compassion, where it's the belief that every living being is free from suffering, not just from feelings, but making it the core to help others. Orihime shows this by supporting not only Ichigo but everyone she cares about. There is also flower symbolism: she is related to a lotus that symbolizes purity and spiritual awakening that comes from emotional resolve. All of these elements are actualized through the series and show all the Buddhist concepts mentioned earlier, but ultimately lead to enlightened detachment from the karmic cycle. So, what do you all think about these observations and the Buddhist themes related to them?
EDIT: Fixing the format and grammar
