I listened to a lot of Good Charlotte when I was 15

I kept letting the hair grow and eventually my spikey hair was so tall it didn't fit in my car even with the seat all the way back. Had to use Elmer's school glue mixed with LA Looks strength 10 gel (and an hour with a hair dryer) to keep it up. I'd pop balloons with it and thought I was a badass hahah.

I fell down a stair set in my high heels!

Back to around 2005 (15 years old), when I wore this headband religiously (why didn't someone took this away from me and burn it?). And one of my most awful haircuts.

Me and my lifelong bff. No glass closet but this was the summer I had my first anxiety attack and they called in local pastors to preform an exorcism on me.

i was also not allowed to wear makeup or skinny jeans, so i had to bring both to school in my backpack and spend 20 minutes in the gross locker room bathroom every morning getting my actual outfit and face together, then another 20 minutes before the bus left washing the eyeliner and mascara off, and changing back into bootcuts.

my mom said i took her curls away when she was pregnant with me, so when i asked her to do my hair for picture day in 5th grade, she helped by giving me an old straightener from the 80s and saying "figure it out". what followed was more than a decade of frying my poor scalp; i have been unlearning this for years lol

my mouth stayed closed or covered by my hand in pictures because i had braces for my really messed up teeth :,) i'm not smiling with teeth in a lot of recent pics either, but i think it's more of a vibe choice now

the ADTR silicone bracelet was my prized possession and gave me a bit of a skin problem because i never took it off, and i made the duct tape bracelets for myself and all my friends (along with a wallet or two). i thought reproducing shitty crayon art i saw on tumblr and posting my drawing of a skull in sepia tone was really edgy

I had a huge crush on Sanji (still do lol) and tried my best to look like him. I'm pretty sure the eyebrows were drawn with my mom's make up. I also tried to recreate his fighting style by kicking the air and stuff hahaha

I was quite proud 😂

I was 15. No, it wasn’t a phase. Yes my eyebrows are better now (hopefully).

14 years ago, I wore this to take my wife out to dinner for our anniversary at a fancy restaurant. Definitely got a few stares. I look like I'm about to perform some street magic or something.

And the way the economy is going, we may have to return to tradition.
