It's been too hot here in San Diego lately and I haven't been able to get out and ride. Well today that will change. It's still hot here but I have to go for a short cruise, or I'll lose my bloody mind.😁 My 2022 GT Pro Series 26 50th anniversary edition Heritage. Absolutely love this bike, makes me feel 12 again when I hop on it and do my feeble wheelies and bunnyhop the speed bumps.

Hello! I am thinking about buying Kink Drifter frame to make myself a MTBMX from the spare parts of the MTB I have. I want to use 26 2.1 wheels, 38-16 chain rings, V brakes, also i don't want to ride it standing up, so i will use regular height seat tube for my height (i am 186 cm / 6.1 ) Will it work? Is it a good durable full crmo frame? I want to ride it kinda aggressively. Thank you in advance!

I just received my new bottom bracket set from billet bmx, a Savage Mid 19mm. Both of the cone spacers are the same height, but the photos on their site show that one is supposed to be taller than the other, which is what I thought all cone spacers should be like. It came with a bunch of washers but I'm wondering if this right.

Can I use these cone spacers and just use the washers that came with it to adjust spacing?

My son recently got the itch to ride a skateboard so I took the chance to get myself a setup too, lol. I found an interesting mount I was able to set up on the Auburn to tow it around. I'm too old to try and do any crazy tricks like back in the day, so I'll just ride around.

Got my daily ironed out,other than the cranks.I guess even at 55 I’m still a kid who likes to jump and just ride around.

Feeling like a kid again

I just bought a Devotion 26 today and for the first 30 min it was fun and brought me back into it. I felt the grips were a little less aggressive( pedals as well), not a huge fan of the breaks but the major problem was the feeling that the crank and pedals felt a little off. After a bunny hop of a curb and wiping out I thought I was just rusty but a closer look showed me. Not trying to judge too harshly but wiping out from a curb hop with my son pissed me off so I might be going too hard. I did a few wheelies and bunny hops but how the F!$? did this happen off a curb !!?? I took it back to the dealer but should I email the company or how should I follow through with this because it could been way worse if I didn’t wear a helmet and wipe out as best I could. I might be ranting to hard but I need some advice on this

Can anyone tell me if a 22” is acceptable for cruising? I have a 26” and am considering a 22” for a little jumping. Just wondering if it would be an exercise in frustration taking it cruising around?
