Discussion Into The Magic Land

Anyone else love this song? I think it may be my favorite on the album. Mysterious, thematic, could be easily in a movie soundtrack. Really cool, gives me someone exploring a hidden cave vibes.

I have taken a break from the album. But this track still plays in my head. It might be my favourite.

Was my favourite after the listening session and its melody was in my mind for all next days sometimes singing it. After the release on 29 May, Naraka became my favourite but Into The Magic Land still in my top list. Listening to Into The Magic Land gives me such a positive and happy feeling!

Love this song. Reminds me of a Mogwai track. Must be a Scottish thing

Great case of the title perfectly complementing and enhancing the music. Combined with the overall themes of belief and indoctrination it even has a sense of sardonic humor.

One of my favorites for sure.  BoC metal.

To me it’s more of a cinematic cowboy western song with touches of David Lynch and the Cocteau Twins.

Totally hear that too, but I'll still say it's the heaviest BoC song

Dig it also. Makes me think of classic era Dr. Who in a Spaghetti Western setting.

It's a great track. It makes me feel like going on a dark and mystical adventure. It also makes me want to play certain types of video games. I've been playing Death Stranding recently, and I feel like it shares vibes with this song/album in some weird way.

This song definitely reminds me of TCH more than almost any other song on the album (besides YRiTaS). Not just the guitar, even the song's structure and percussion. It almost sounds like it's shimmering at times. It definitely has a weird and eerie quality to it though, I think partially because the chord progression doesn't quite resolve as expected whenever it starts over. I love it, and I also like where it sits on the album.

To me the most TCH part of the album is the last minute of Prophecy at 1420 MHz

Totall agree and TCH is my favorite album so makes sense! Although I've been so obsessed with Inferno, even as someone who prefers the lighter BOC typically, but man tracks like that, Age of Capricorn, Prophecy at 1420 MHz, Naraka, Deep Time, Blood in The Labyrinth, You Retreat in Time and Space and I Saw Through Platonia are my favorites. I feel like the 2nd half of the album which to me is (mostly) a lighter shade of the album is my absolute favorite. And this track totally has that vibe. It's not too over the top intense yet has a mystical mysterious vibe which to me is kind of relaxing in a way (Though I know there's dark undertones) I just simply love it. Always come back to it, I think it and Retreat along with Labrinyth and Capricorn are my most played.

Sometimes it gives me vibes of flying along on a magic carpet. The wind sounds contribute to that.

When I listen to it I can’t stop thinking about the animated movie of the Lord of the Rings from the 70’s

I dislike what seems to be high gain at the beginning. Other than that, very cool song. Reminds me of State of Decay

One of my faves off the album. Kinda gives me Tortoise vibes.
